    Whatever position you put pacman in (which shouldn't be above 30) just make sure floyd is ahead of him

    The harsh reality is in order to judge him an ATG you need to believe that Morales and Barrera were ATGs and in their prime at the time that he fought them.

    The harsh reality is that, wherever you put Pac, he'd still be above Floyd. So if Pac is ranked 60-70, that would make Floyd 90-100.

    Not the way he's beginning to rack up them losses, he's not winning the Marquez fight if they do it again, unless bob helps out again, and he's certainly not beating Floyd

    They were maybe a year removed from their prime.

    Pac, however, was 4 years before his prime.

    As far as I'm concerned, Manny Pacquiao was in his prime when he lost to Erik Morales.

    The thing is, most boxing experts do not talk about this fight.

    He'd be right around Jimmy McLarnin on my all time list methinks, and the last time I made one, the orignial Baby Face was around the number 35 slot.

    The reason why I use McLarnin as a point of reference is because Jimmy's career trajectory matches Pac's fairly closely. McLarnin also defeated the defending flyweight champion very early on his career and made his way through the divisions, fighting and generally beating the best along the way, before he finally settled in at welterweight and won his only world championship (he was fighting in the 1920's and 30's, it should be noted, when there was only one champion per division). Since I view McLarnin as being an ATG, I'm more or less obligated to view Pac as one, too- since he for all intents and purposes is McLarnin reincarnated.

    yes he is ATG. Sometimes people want to say someone is great when they are not, but this guy is absolutely.
