Personally i don't think that Bute is available to take Pascals power, it's at LWH (Which means punches getting harder) Pascal is also way quicker than Froch. And he had great experience in beating a southpaw, Chad Dawson.

Pascal TKO / KO midrounds :deal

The problem only really problem i see for Pascal, is his stamina which is why i think that if Bute wins, it will be a close decision and he has to survive the early rounds. Because Pascal is a fast starter

Fight should have happened years ago. With that said Pascal takes a better punch has more heart and is more battle tested. Pascal TKO:deal

I a fan of both guys but right now it happened Pascal takes Bute who's ego is shattered right now. Usually I would say it is to close to call.

Bute's blue print to loss is clear now and the recipe is out for the taking.

If Bute learns from his grave mistake and weakness, and counters it with intelligent fighting (for his circumstance) then we can see a strecthed out tactical fight with Bute coming out on top.

I do not think Bute will ever suffer a defeat like that ever again. It all depends on how he copes with his loss though.

Pascal won the belt from Diaconu, another Romanian who fought out of Montreal, and also defeated him in the rematch.
And trust me Pascal wasn't so convincingly against this opponent, both on points.
Diaconu was really a solid fighter -meanwhile he retired- but Bute is simply another material.

I tend to agree with Carrera knowing all the boxing schools in the world and Bute is representative for the Canadian one.
And I wish him the best, it would be a pity to end the career like this or never to return to top.
I am only saying, I always thought Bute is gonna do something big in boxing, like unifying belts.

pascal did not win the belt from diaconu, it was a vacant belt vacated by chad dawson, pascal and diaconu fought for the belt when there was no title holder, diaconnu was the interim belt holder at the time

Pascals got a comparable chin/power/aggressiveness/killer instict to Froch, in some areas he's slightly better and in others slightly worse plus he's 10x faster than Froch. I used to think Bute schools Froch and Pascal but Pascal can easily follow Froch's bumrush on Lucian and just show no respect for him, rush him and bombard him into submission.

Good fight, would favour Pascal but I don't think Bute should be counted out yes he got beat by Froch but he beat some decent fighters just below Froch's level and I think he could gave Pascal a good fight.

I think you are wrong, if I remember well Diaconu won first the interim but then was elevated to full champion because Dawson refused to make the defense. Pascal won the WBC belt from Diaconu and defended it in a rematch then also retained versus Chad Dawson.

About this fantasy match, I believe Pascal is unpredictable like Carl Froch. Remember that he won Chad Dawson then lost against Hopkins.
I picked Bute only because I think Froch is better than Pascal, hitting stronger and having a better chin.

Pascal is basically a chocolate Froch with faster hands and a bit less stamina. Horrible fight for Lu.

Faster hands but again you people are understimating Carl Froch.
He has other qualities and if he would have had also fast hands maybe he would have been better than Andre Ward.

When Pascal and Froch met it was large margin in favour of the Englishman.
Froch won: 116-112, 117-111, 118-110, the Canadian wasn't really close. Sorry.

It was much closer than that I personally had it pretty competitive.

And this would be 175 I reckon. Bute doesn't belng there at all IMO

The rounds were close, Pascal was 24, weight drained and fighting in England. I would like to see the two guys going at it again.
