Froch: Kessler announcement in two weeks

What about after Kessler? Isn't there unfinished business with Ward? Howa bout a tune-up first with Dirrell?

I think that the Kessler from 2003-2007 would beat Froch by a fairly wide margin, the Kessler from 09-now will struggle..

You must be a Eurodude or just a hater because anybody who watches the fight game saw Froch get handled. Clinching or not!

 

There wasn't much debate after the fight. Even the british media felt the right man won. Froch, however, has been ridiculously successfull talking people into believing that he won.

Do yourself a favour and check the board threads in the days after the fight.

 

Yeah that version of Kessler would make it a no-contest. Still it's just not a good match-up for Froch.


Even though this will probably be made, I don't think this is the correct fight for the dane. He already has a clear win over the cobra and another one will do little for his legacy. I'd much rather see him face Ward again. Unless of course Hearn pays a truckload of cash.

Win or lose for Kessler, I have a feeling this might happen. . .

Im not sure about the whole Kessler having double vision. . Maybe after the fight. . But even then, I just think Kessler got a LOT taken out of him by Froch. . . And he wanted a way out of the tournament. . I mean, not trying to call Kessler out like that, and call his heart into question, but he just literally needed that time to recover.

Lol I remember in the Showtime fight camp episode, after Kessler withdrew and cited the eye injury, he got in a car with some of his team, and was driving away (Kessler was driving). . Lol Gary Shaw says: "I know I wouldn't want to be in that car with Kessler having double vision while driving."

 

Dirrell has a tendency to run out of gas so he has to compensate. He doesn't take rouds off. But that was then. This is now. The guy working out at the Maywather gym is a different animal! Completely!

 

By Ward, yes. . Which is why a rematch with Ward right now makes no sense. . . If Froch beats Kessler, and then maybe someobdy else, then yes, a rematch would be welcome as it'd be clear they are definitely the best two 168 pounders in the world. . .

But Dirrell? I like Dirrell a lot, and support him when a lot of peopel hate, but he didn't handle Froch at all. . I thought Dirrell won 114-113 (7 rounds to 5), but it was an UGLY, UGLY fight, and nobody wants to watch that again. . You could make an argument Froch won because Dirrell didn't start doing anything until the 9th round. . .

Dirrell needs to get back in the ring with another live body, or two first. . . Then we can talk about him fighting Froch again. . .

Look what Froch has done since the fight, compared to Dirrell. . .

They both beat Abraham equally convincingly, maybe slight edge to Froch cause Dirrell lost 3 rounds or so, and got floored by Abraham. . But Dirrell was first to do it. . . And floored Abraham. . . So that evens it back out.

This coming from a DIRRELL FAN. . . He simpy hasn't done anything to make the fans want that rematch.

I want to see him get back in the ring with a named opponent first. . .

You figure why the hell was he driving when he was having double vision problems? Didn't they say the same thing in the Ward fight as well?

If Frochy gets Kessler in the trouble Green had him in I have little doubt that Froch won't get the finish. Hes relentless when he has you in trouble. Doubt Kess would sign on for a trilogy after that.
