    Hey guys

I am a newbie, not sure if its relevant but does anyone have any detials on Official WBC replica belts?

I need to know are they easily avaiable and how much do they cost?

just that i have the chance to buy WBC belt signed by Floyd Mayweather and Manny Paqciou. (mayweather signed it first btw otherwise he wouldnt have) with pics etc and PSN/DNA certification.

What would be the value of such a belt with the signatures?

and also are signed WBC belts actually a popular and valuable piece of boxing memorabilia? because i know signed boxing gloves are more famous

Dont want to be paying extortionate price so any guidance would be appreicaited

    thanks guys

I assume you are talking about that one on ebay for $5,000? I have no idea if its worth that...but I do know that is a good idea to be very, very, very skeptical when it comes to autographed merchandise. Unless you actually had it signed, then you really don't know if it is real. It is probably safe to say that the merchandise that comes from the IBHOF and the individual boxer's websites are authentic. Aside from that, any jackhole with a pen can sign a name on a belt and then google a picture of each fighter signing a belt. Just my take.

If your willing to spend 5K on a signed belt then just buy a replica belt and fly out to your favorite fighters gym and get him to sign it in person. I wouldn't buy **** off eBay that was signed and comes with a "genuine certificate of authenticity".

Hi Eugene, I hope Charlie Z hasn't smashed the house up too badly since he got out of jail.

  5. I tried searching for replica belts for sale on the internet and I can't find any... not even directly from WBC.

So they don't appear to be prevalent or easy to get ahold of. I would say that if you had a legit signed WBC belt by Floyd Mayweather, it's gonna be something that gains value over the years (he'll be recognized as an all time great in the years to come). I would be very careful about the signature though. Do as much research and signature comparison that you possibly can before purchasing that... even if it has a certificate of authenticity you can never be too careful.

    Thanks guys

I have found a company that sells the replicas wbcme.co.uk but they sell the belt just for $3K. So does the letter authenticity actually not mean anything?

How? Other than to beat a current WBC champion of the world? :)
