Check your first sentence before I answer. Its a lil confusing.

The second question no one at GBP/USADA will answer. My asking it resulted in getting that legal threat.

In my opinion, an audit needs to be done on pros/cons of both organizations on their standards, specimen handling, cost, etc.

This one is a companion piece to the one you posted

    http://www.maxboxing.com/news/max-b...y-and-other-tales-from-boxings-drug-war-front

It explains Conte's history with Nandrolone and the a brief history of Nandrolone contamination cases.

And therein lies the heart of the problem, which caused most of the Floyd Defense Brigade to go up in arms.

If GBP has concerns about a star/flagship fighter testing positive, and they want to know what they can do to circumvent the results beng made public, then the testing, while admirable in it's intent, is still too much of a smokescreen. And you know they saying, where there's smoke....

Floyd wants a drug test and proud to display it and Canelo doesn't want one or display it. common sense or educated guess.

I just think it doesn't make financial sense knowing how much money VADA testing has cost them. The initial, up front costs were great but the final bill hurt their pockets much more since they kept catching fighters who were doping.

They never said"opps, tainted sample" They said the levels were so low that it appears to be a case of contamination. And as Victor Conte explained. Bersto ingested some type of energy drink that was made in a lab were they make PEDS and they didn't clean the equipment properly.

The only entity the USADA has to release info to is their client, by law. USADA and any state commision aren't connected in any way. The NSAC or any other can't be made privy to the results unless the client gives them the info. Understand? Has nothing to do with corruption of the USADA.

It's ok, it came from a misreading of your initial post. No worries.

The whole concept of testing being a service bought by promotional companies is ludicrous to me. Promoters are on the long list of the sports problems. They're the ones responsible for mismatches, fixed fights and disseminating misinformation in order to protect the earning potential of their fighters - and now we're supposed to believe that these guys would willingly out one of their guys as a drugs cheat if there's anyway it can be helped? Haha, yeah right . . .

If testing is going to work it needs to be procured and applied independently of promotional bodies. Only problem who is going to be responsible for it? The alphabet agencies and the US boxing commissions aren't exactly a shining beacon of integrity and have more than their fair share of dirt on their hands.

the fact is usada hasnt caught anybody. vada has already caught 2 people in only a short time. goldenboy and floyd r hiding the truth that they r suspicious and hding something from the public. his insistence of usada testing was to cover his arse all along from being caught. he fought mosley he was fast and elusive. he fought victor he was aggressive and fast. when he fought cotto, they used ratio that vada uses and u saw how slow and sluggish he looked. cotto even had moments of making floyd look rdinary as in round 8. and cotto all along has already been in 2 wars with pac and margarito. floyd should have dominated him like he did ortiz and mosley. u could see just by his performances that something is not right. he even blamed it on a cold for his performance against cotto like that was the reason for his poor performance. when people with half a brain know what is really going on
