Froch: Kessler announcement in two weeks

Exactly. . Lol, after Kess's team giving all this testimony about why he couldn't continue in the tournament, and had serious double vision problems, he nonchalantly gets in the car with his team, and drives away. . . :rofl

Not questioning his heart or anything, but just think he wanted a way out of the tournament because he didn't want to risk fighting again 2-3 times in the next year. . . He probably really did need that time off, but he didn't have no damn double vision like that. . .


Yeah, I agree; last fight Froch had KEssler in shoulder-high **** a few times, but it wasn't like Froch not to press him out, and try to finish, which he probably would have. . He allowed Kessler time to recover, and stay in the fight. . . In that fight, I did think Kessler MIGHT have nicked it out (I had it a draw), but I don't think there's any doubt as to who inflicted more damage (froch did). . .

This time, if Froch hurts Kessler, he'll jump all over him like a spider ******. . I think both Froch, and Kessler know this. . .

 

No reason to doubt the injury. It's well documented. As I understand it the doublevision occurs when looking down or getting punched in the face.

 

Never doubted it but he sure as **** shouldn't have been driving away :rofl

 

If that is happening, its another top fight for Froch and Kessler.

Just imagine Johnson getting up in there with Kess after Kess had the Froch fight? He probably would have had to fight Ward at least one more time to. He obviously wasn't up for any of that so it probably was in his best interest to bow out and feast on some bums.

a big puncher. .. kessler would have won, but he knew it could have been a grueling fight. . . he didn't want to get more taken out of him..

he was told he needed to "rest for 8-9 months," which would have conveniently allowde him to be ready just in time to fight the winner of the tournament. . which is what i think his plan was. . . he wanted to fight ward after teh froch fight, but since Ward wouldn't come to Denmark, and expected Kessler to come back to Oakland, he said forget about it for now.

like i said, i have no doubt kessler was ****ed up after the froch fight - he really took a hurting in that fight. . he did deserve the rest. . but im just trying ot keep it real - i don't think he had double vision like that. . . and i think he wanted an easy way out to simply fight the winner.

like turbo said, it's normal to get double vision after getting cracked in the noodle. . . but i don't think it was anymore of a lingering problem than pretty much 99% of all boxers have after getting in wars like that.

Come on Khan, you're a good poster and you're better than this.

There is a HUGE difference between having eyesight good enough to drive a car (elderly people with poor sight do so all the time) and eyesight good enough to enter the ring against fighters like Ward and Froch.

Kessler has never given us a reason to question his heart and i'm not going to do so now. The man has gone abroad to defend his titles against undefeated versions of Ward and Calzaghe in their backyard, and gone to war with the likes of Froch. He has nothing to prove in terms of heart.

Are you kidding? There is debate after almost every big fight that does not end in a stoppage (and even some of those). Kessler did not dominate Froch, but he won a clear decision, imo - and in that of most experts. That doesn't mean Froch isn't a great fighter - and he's bounced back well from loosing his 0.
