You're still not getting it. Manny was at his best weight around 130. He steps up in weight and is notably less powerful - other than Hatton he's gained all his stoppages through attrition, not sheer power.

What the hell has Catholicism got to do with drug tests?

Pac refused the request because Mayweather was simply trying to bully Manny. There had been no mention of drug-testing pre-Marquez, but all of a sudden, after Manny flattens Hatton, Floyd wants it.

Worse than that, they actively accuse Pac of doping. And you don't see why it was commendable that Pac valued his integrity and self-respect over millions of $.

The better question is why Floyd refused to accept ANY of the concessions Manny made, and added new criteria every time Manny agreed.

    :patsch

Thats not one the excuses Team Pac came up with at all  Floyd accepted all of the concessions in 2009. Then Pac wouldn't accept the ONLY concession he has ever had to accept in his life.

That's daft and out of bounds of the sport. Floyd had NEVER made an issue about testing until a fight with Manny was on the table. But at the same time he's saying Pac is no real challenge, etc.

Whether the testing is adequate is a moot point, but what isn't is why Mayweather has any authority to make the accusation. He doesn't.

Pac didn't. Other than Hatton all of his stoppages have been by attrition. What he had was speed and accuracy that slower, larger fighters couldn't handle. He got shots in they didn't expect, same as Floyd was able to wobble the bigger, sturdier Oscar.

He was at his peak, fighting at his natural bodyweight, and a lot faster than his opponents. But by the time he fought Margarito, the extra weight and age had slowed Manny significantly.

Floyd looks to be bigger and stronger now, particularly curious after long lay-offs. He looked bigger than Cotto in the ring. Could that be evidence of cycling?

Didn't have to agree to it though. Irrelevant.

Oh come on... what point are you making here?

But he DID agree to testing. He reacted pretty normally for someone being accused of cheating without foundation.

So you've made a baseless judgement using assumptions. Refusal to comply = guilt? Nonsense.

It's no evidence at all. It's like saying "You know you've caught a guilty man because he gets sleep before his trial."

It's the actual reason. The other stuff came later regarding the cut-off date. It's also why Pac sued the Mayweathers and GBP. And the reason GBP issued an apology and settled.

Because there was no evidence for baseless slander.

Pac accepted all the concession and Mayweather changed the goalposts. Fact.

No they came up with a bunch of BS that needles hurt Manny's arm, that losing blood weakens him, then they straight up LIED about the cutoff date when a video came out about him and Hatton giving blood so they had to backtrack on everything they were LYING about  :rofl :patsch

    Fact.

Its clear the Floyd defenders by in large bring this thread's I.Q. down with old, tired arguments about the past. Way to go in circles, fellas.

Yeah 2 years later he agreed to it. You can't expect the same deal 2 years later after you've already been caught in blatant lies and your opponent makes more than you.

AND Especially when your opponent is setting PPV records and is the champion in the division.

I think Morales busting his ass and pounding blood out of his skull was what weakened him. :thumbsup
