No one in history ****s with Montreal Duran. Any other versions of him were beatable, tho still not an easy task.
I doubt it. Duran gets pummeled against Pacquiao. Manny would be too unorthodox for Duran. Duran quits against Mayweather after 5 rounds of realizing he is getting tattooed and can't land a meaningful punch. I know this will rub some people the wrong way but really, name one truly elite fighter that Duran beat at those weights.
Ernesto Marcel at 130. Emiliano Villa was a solid win at 140. Anyways, I doubt Duran in his prime would have much trouble moving up 5 pounds north and competing with Mayweather and Pacquiao, when he moved up 12 pounds and won clearly over Ray Leonard.
I feel SRR and Gavilan would of beat Montreal Duran, although your opinion is indeed understandable. Oh and also Hearns murders him, as he is unbeatable due to his height and power.
I'm somewhat being sarcastic even though those fighters you named are not huge names in the world of boxing. I'm just tired of people acting like the older fighters always beat these modern day fighters. Its ridiculous.
