Mathysse was easily better. He will move on with his career in a positive direction. What is the point of a rematch? Soto gets his ass handed to hiim once again. He is on the downslope after a solid career.

soto wants nothing to do with this guy or 140.

never been done in his career and was ruined by those punches. after he got up, he had to keep his left hand on the ropes to keep from falling back down. he didnt even know where he was at in his corner.
you would have to be some kind of stupid to think that a rematch would end any differently.

this aztlan guys a fool. posting some one punch ko video by soto on some nobody named aristedes perez as it would have some sort of relevancy to this fight.

knew right there this guy knows nothing about handicapping a fight.

Soto said in a post fight interview on on ESPN Deportes, as he walked in the lobby, that his body didnt react right on fight night, and that the (natural) adrenaline is there for fighters in their bodies, but he didnt feel it that night.

maybe he was drugged, in the Hotel food he ate, or who knows, cause he didnt feel the energy, goinng into the ring that night.

Soto is in his prime, and needs a couple of tune-ups at 140lbs, so that he gets used to that division.

He jumped from 135lbs. to 140lbs and took on the hardest puncher in that division, too soon.

Lucas also did some dirty fighting by pulling Soto's head down to many times.

Soto couldve outboxed him, but bravely choose to slug it out with the natural 140lber.

Soto will KO Lucas in a rematch.

Soto would fight smarter in the rematch.

Soto fought flat-footed in this fight, and he said in a post fight interview, that he didnt feel the energy, the hunger, going into this fight.
He had an off-night, and this is probably from to much training , constantly fighting the last 3-4 years, all that gym work takes some toll.

Soto just fought 2 months ago, a 10 round win, last April, while Lucas rested.
Maybe Soto shouldn't have fought a tune-up 2 months ago, and he wouldve had more energy for when he fought Lucas.

It took a young puppy to cheat (by pulling Soto's head many times) & beat a 15 year veteran, with almost 70 pro fights-Soto

he wont fight smarter in the rematch because there wont be one. soto had a chance in a 10-round fight but will have none in a 12.

he know he gets broken down quicker and has no future at 140.

AZTlan, You are crazy about Soto, aren't you? He's done! No rematch and no nothing. He fought very stupid that's why he got KO'd. He thought that he could handle Lucas's power but he couldn't. That's the fact son. No more threads about Soto. please!
