Clear out the division or at least prove your the best fighter in a division

Who else should he fight then @140?

Well considering he lost to Peterson , he should if possible look to rematch him , i know its complex and i know its out of Khans hands but Peterson should and probably is on his radar

Bradley , this fight obviously needs to happen , i mean its just plain and simple a must

After them two if Khan can secure wins over either he's making in roads into being the best in the division (a title he's held tentatively after beating Judah so decisively , and whilst Bradley was in active) but he's not the best in the division , and i say that pretty decisively

Then your looking at others around him @140 who can provide him with a test , Marquez would obviously spring to mind but Beristain has already rubished that fight , Robert Guerrero would also spring to mind but he fights his next fight @147 and wants a crack at Mayweather but i get the feeling he'd take Khan @40 or 47 !!! if Mayweather doesn't come off

My overall point is that Khan has no reason to be weight hopping when he can't put a run together without losing a fight , Prescott flattened him and there was no desire to ever rematch the guy ?? why ?? , Peterson has beaten him , i don't care what people say the only black mark on his name is the PED issue , as the fight went the better man won !! thats the way i see it

I don't see what position Khan is in to be moving weight classes just for the sake of bettering his standing in the landscape of world boxing when he's not even the best in his current weight division , the move from 135 to 140 was a good call , made by Freddie Roach , Roach must know that Khan has vulnerabilities and if he isn't outgrowing the division then i imagine Roach will reign him in

First things first where the hell have you been the past few months, also when you mentioned the name prescott, i knew straight away that you my man ARE a khan hater.

So lets get down to business, do you even listen to yourself, you just gave a very good reason why khan SHOULD move up, whilst you were trying to explain why you're so against it. LMAO.

First of all the peterson fight DEFINITELY shouldn't count as a loss, i mean you said it yourself he was on PEDs and yes the better man won, right, no not at all, because I don't think you know this but PEDs stand for Performance Enhancing Drugs, hence the reason why peterson was "the better man" in that fight. so yeah what now?

Second of all I highly doubt that bradley is going to want to fight khan @140, why because he got a belt @147 and all the big money fights that he wants to be in are @147, you catch my drift, so khan HAS to move up for that fight.

Now on to the "other guys" he can fight @140, the jmm fight ain't happening because he's only waiting around for another shot at manny and in the mean time he's looking for southpaws to fight in prep for the manny fight, guess what khan ain't a southpaw, too bad.

Ah guerrero, you do know that he's fighting for a title @147 and if he wins and he HAS to win for the khan fight to happen, he'll be in company with the big boys @147, so naturally thats a good fight to make @147 for khans welter debut you feel me.

Also before you start blowing your head off, yes i am a khan fan (im sure you can tell by the avatar, but just making sure you know), but since you're a khan hater, i think that should level things out.

Im not a hater , i promise you that , I'm a fan of Khan , but I'm only a fan of his abilities , I've long since tuned out to Khan outside of the ring , 2 reasons , first he's deluded at where he is in terms of ability , secondly he has become very arrogant and says the most stupid things that just make little to no sense , this is coupled with the fact Golden Boy are doing a stellar job managing his career

Look !!!! Khan was knocked out brutally by Briedis Prescott and had ample opportunity to rematch the guy , it doesn't matter a **** where Prescott is or where he went after the Khan fight , Khan had no desire to rematch a guy who'd brutally KO'd him , there the facts

Im not going to argue with you about Peterson , i kind of agree what your saying on that to a degree , its kind of like Oscar De La Hoya shouting from the rooftops that Shane Mosley didn't really beat him because he was pumped full of juice , well Oscar had a little moan yes but then put it to bed , Khan on the other hand refuses to acknowledge the fight never took place (it would seem) which he has a right to do obviously but he's deluded , and ill tell you why , all Peterson done to nullify Khan was walk forward and tuck up , thats it !!!! , and Khan wants a fight with Floyd Mayweather ????? :-(

Bradley would take a fight with Khan @140 and so would Guerrero if Mayweather isn't on the table providing he wins , then there is the myth of Lamont Peterson and the rematch , oh no there doesn't need to be a rematch does there , Khan never lost did he ??? , look mate i don't hate Khan , I've watched him fight 3 times live , paid my hard earned cash to go and see the kid , but no more , like I've said he's delusional and vastly over rated in his own head more than anything else !!!!

Khan hasn't cleared out 140 , not even close , and he's talking about 147 and the big dogs , he can't hang with the big dogs , and thats something he should be aware of :deal

Khan can fight Bradley and Guerrero at 147lb
They are pretty exciting fights and I don't understand why any boxing fan would have a problem with that!

I havent I've got a problem with Khan weight hopping for no apparent reason , it makes no sense , goes against everything your taught as a fighter and fighting to your weight class , if he's outgrowing the weight yes then its a necessity , but i don't believe he is

Guerrero is somewhat of a puzzle above 135 so at 147 he may just come a cropper ?? its unknown yet
, plus if the noises Guerrero was making about Mayweather and Pacquiao are anything to go off , he'll be looking for Floyd if he beats Aiydin , if not Floyd then the bigger fights for Guerrero lie at 140 IMO
, namely Khan , Bradley and Marquez

EDIT ; there's 3 or 4 guys who can beat Khan @140 (Bradley,Peterson,Marquez,Guerrero) Alvarado is no chump and Maidana nearly stopped him , and theres a whole lot more at 147 , I'm being dragged into arguments off a tangent here , my point !!! , concentrate on being the best in your weight before fighting the worlds elite in an alien weight class !! make sense ??

Thats in effect saying that Peterson cheated but in doing so was the better man....it would be pretty pointless cheating if that wasn't the outcome. Daft comment mate.

Lopez looked very limited in what he was doing on Saturday and was way behind and cruising to a comfortable points loss until Victor had a complete head ****.

I have worded that a little incorrectly there , quite right that doesn't make a lot of sense

I maybe should have said that Khan lost , there is no disputing that in my mind , just a small problem there , Peterson " may " have been taking PED's , evaluating the fight i believe Khan genuinely lost the fight to the better fighter on the night , but again , Peterson's credibility is now in severe doubt

But ill reiterate , its still a loss on Khan's record , to avenge that loss he needs to fight Peterson again IMO

Thats true , and i won't take that away from Khan , but something tells me that he has his " out " from fighting Peterson and he will exercise that , claiming along the way that he feels he never really lost the fight , convincing himself more than anyone

Look I'm beginning to look like i hate the kid here and i don't , i rate him on his ability , and i do not believe he's as good as a) he himself thinks and b) his adoring fans think he is , he has too many technical flaws and not enough fighting instinct , thats just my view ,id really like to see him be a little more subtle and respectful to his opponents , knuckle down and get back to performing well again

i agree with the majority of this. i was once a big khan fan but now he's losing me as a fan, even if peterson was juiced up, khan as an ''elite fighter'' should have not made the mistakes he made, he hardly showed any versatility during the fight. he couldn't adapt to petersons pressure.

Khan is not "Elite" nor is he a "Glass Jawed Joke". Khan thinks he's elite as does Kevin Mitchell as did Jon Murray etc etc.
