Course i do. I cant get away from your shitty threads they infest this site. And you seem to like the fact people know you're a cluelss c*nt. Strange.
Ask some of the older members here who is/was bigger out of Ali and Tyson. Ask John Garfield. It aint even close.
Just adding to your comment, he isn't just the most recognizable boxer ever but the biggest boxing cash cow as well. He hasn't boxed for decades but he is still being paid royalties because his name and likeness are trademarked. You don't have to look far to find tees, posters, lunchboxes dvds etc. Just look at the last 15 years and we've had an Ali biopic, facing Ali, when we were kings etc
Isn't Pele more well known that Maradona globally? It's doesn't really matter, because neither Pele nor Jordan nor anyone else even approaches Ali's level of reknown. He's simply the most famous human being that ever lived if you exclude religious and political figures. Elvis is the only guy who ever came close to Ali as far as being famous worldwide, but I would say that Elvis is probably forgotten in many second and third world countries. Ali is not.
As far as global popularity...not necessarily money generated Muhamad Ali Mike Tyson Manny Pacquaio - This guys face has been all over the place for the past few years Joe Louis - Because of his fights with Schmeling and the Nazi/American ties Max Schmeling - Because of his fights with Louis and Nazi/American ties Rocky Marciano - Everyone knew who The Rock was John L. Sullivan - Amazing popularity considering there was no television or radio
You have it exactly backwards. At any rate, Tyson isn't a bigger name than Louis or Robinson or Dempsey or Jack Johnson. He's more recent and he WILL be remembered, but probably along the lines of a Sonny Liston or Marciano rather than Ali.
Elvis is more well known TODAY than MJ ever was. Jackson was hyped heavily from birth and his fame is as much a result of the label's publicity machine as his own talent. His legacy won't approach that of a Sinatra or Elvis or Chuck Berry or any of probably several dozen other musicians.
No disrespect to you younger guys but this was a silly question. It's Ali and it's not even close. Ali was Michael Jordan before there was MJ. Ali was a world wide superstar and that was before internet, cable tv, social media, etc...
