Canelo Alvarez: I wanted to fight Mayweather or Cotto next, but they’re on vacation

    You my friend are wrong. Cotto it self said that he was going to fight agin at the end of the year.

    Cotto would not be ready for a fight in Sept. Tell Canelo and his management team to get the fight ready in Dec. Plain and simple.

    Canelo's record is just full of taxi drivers and tomato cans. He is not ready for Miguel or FMJr.

    But no worry man, that fight will come within the next 6-9 months and we will have a fight.

    Cummon Doc, I generally respect your point of view and I admire ur enthusiasm wen it comes to your support of Canelo BUT do honestly believe he beats Cotto that easy?

    I think its a very good fight, one where Cotto COULD get staggered/hurt but I can honestly see Cotto outboxing him and maybe even hurting Saul aswell...jus my opinion ofcos

    how about kirkland? what's his status? out of the 3, lara, cotto, kirkland, i think thats the most exciting fight that could be made..

    Kirkland fine glass jaw would be chattered in <3 rounds. Reason #1 he was the very choice to fight Canelo. He (Kirkland) is another highly overated C- boxer.

    Why should Cotto need to be in any hurry to fight Canelo? He's fought the whose who at 140 and 147 and mixed it at 154 taking a title and giving Floyd a hell of a fight. Canelo needs to earn his respect, and earn his shot.

    Cotto's craft alone would cause Canelo issues. Add to that Cotto's improved cardio, he could easily be way up on the cards by the 7th.

    Canelo needs to improve his conditioning and work rate. Once he does that, he'll definitely be A-class.

    You guys really want Miguel to Fernando Vargas, Saul?.....alright wait then, will do.

    Just wait until next year.

    Oscar and Shafer will not let him near Miguel just yet though.

    Everyone knows Lara just like they know Gamboa and Rigondeaux, and since caperucita is going to be the headliner what do you care about Lara? The blind Canelo's fan will pay for the PPV or fill out the stadium to see their hero get ****, or are you going to tell me that Rhodes, Gomez and Hatton have a big following?
