Espn first take is very entertaining just don't take it serious.

 

He is not a boxing guy, it is his job to banter back and forth with Stephen A. Smith and try to be controversial. Personally, I think he and Stephen A. are a riot, love watching them when I can, but you can't take his stuff seriously, it is just show-biz

Skip Bayless is entertaining, but his boxing knowledge is close to zero
His assessments are always based on basic like/dislike dichotomy, never on deep and educated analysis
He dislikes Floyd and likes Pacquiao, he predicted Floyd would be cut at the 3rd round if they ever fight... Except from a headbutt I don't see that happening
I remember once he was asked in 2011 "who has Pacquiao beaten to earn his spot for a fight vs Floyd", and he didn't say anything, he didn't know who are Cotto, Margarito, Hatton, Clottey etc.

 

He's awful. How he has an ESPN gig is beyond me. They must have just had a million misinformed white dudes draw a name out of a hat for that job because he knows nothing.


You'd think it was him Floyd check hooked into the ring post instead of Hatton.

Most people hate him. The owner of the Mavs, Mark Cuban, was on the other day, and Mr. Cuban gave Skip a lesson on the game of basketball.

neither he or anyone not named teddy atlas or any of the other boxing usuals know anything about boxing at espn. they know much less than we do and clearly do not follow the sport. alot of what skip asserts is simply intended to stir the pot, because First Take, his show, has the highest ratings of any espn t.v show outside of sportscenter. Skip does know alot about other sports though, when he and Stephen A. Smith go at it about the NBA, it's hilarious.

Stephen A. and Skip are worse than *****s and *******s. at least *****s and *******s know what they're talking about and skew their perspective. stephen a. and and skip know nothing of which they speak.

Skip is a clown, he just talks **** and never owns up to it when his predictions are wrong. He seems like an intelligent guy, but he rather stir up controversy for ratings instead of giving an objective point of view.
