Assuming he wins against Garcia, what should Amir's next step be?

He's very tall, so welterweight should be no problem and since he fought and survived the power of Maidana and other heavy hitters I can't see any huge problems with him not able to deal with welterweight power.

He may not have the best, but also not a weak chin. But his speed and punching power is very high and I am curious how the extra muscle will affect his punching power and overall quickness.

if he beats garcia then he should probably go after bradley. or rematch pederson if he still has the belts and try to unify 140.

if he can do all that then he should move up to 147 face alexander or ortiz.

bradley failed against pacquiao, I am sick of him. that light punching mouse can go back to light welterweight, he has no business at welterweight, amir has the size, speed and power to do so.

  6. We shouldn't assume anything IMO

i meant he should face bradley for his 140 belt.

khans been saying for a while that he wants to unify 140. if he can beat garcia, he gets his belts back, and he beats bradley he could do that.

ive actually picked the upset though. i think garcia catches khan with his left hook that he loves to throw every 3 seconds in the late rounds.

part of me hopes that khan wins just cuz i wanna see what garcias dad would say afterwards.

He owes the British fans (of his) the Brook fight.
I would absolutely love him to fight Matthyse.LM moves in straight lines which would give Khan a very good chance but he also has the power to sparkle Khan worse than he's ever been sparkled. It's a fabulous fight.
People are right when they say it's wrong to look past Garcia. It's certainly not a given.
And I think Mayweather knows Khan is one of the few bankable opponents who have no chance of beating him,so that's a real possibility as well.

Bailey signed to fight Alexander the other day. . .

Khan should fight the winner of that fight. . . Would be a great "first fight" at 147. . .

    If not, Kell Brook.

I hope he goes up and challenges Bradley. Bradley has been talking WAY too much trash ever since the Pacquiao robbery and is now acting like he's the greatest thing since sliced bread (if he honestly believes all the **** he says, that sets a new standard for being obnoxiously delusional; if he's just trolling, it's still obnoxious and painfully unfunny.)

Khan taking the belt and derailing a guy who blatantly ducked him at 140 would be poetic justice in my mind. He'd better focus on body shots against Bradley though; that chrome dome of his seems indestructible.

Bradley already ducked the ever living siht out of him?

Now he has Arum to hide behind. . . He's calling him out hard now, knowing good and damned well Arum won't let him near a ring with THE KING.

He had his shot, and was even going to get paid well more than his worth. .

He just got beat by Pacqiuao. . He needs a tuneup. .

Bradley knew Khan was a risky fight. He was accused of holding out for a Pacquaio fight but guess what? He got that fight. He's not the first to refuse to sign up for a high risk bout when he's in line for a fight that will give him a retirement fund.
All these armchair promoter/fighters who would fight anyone anywhere for **** all just because it's what the fans want.
Bull****.Bradley played a blinder when it came to Khan.Don't forget Khan's notorious for making very low offers to opponents then coming out and saying they ducked.
