    let's say you are a prime Boxer, your name is as famous as Tyson or de la Hoya and you got your biggest fight against the second biggest name after you around or in your division. YOU vs Pacquiao or YOU vs Mayweather etc..[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estadio_Azteca"][/ame]

    Since my hometown is a suburb of Los Angeles, if I was a legendary boxer, my dream would be to work out a deal to fight in Dodger Stadium, maybe directly after a weekend afternoon Dodgers game.

    Alternatively, given that I'm half-Japanese, if I were to defend the title abroad, I'd probably want to defend the title at the Saitama Arena where they used to have PRIDE FC and DREAM shows, and I'd want one of those super-elaborate entrance videos like they used to put together over there.

    If forced to choose, though, I'd want the fight in Dodger Stadium.

    Just like this, only the video would play on the jumbotron at Dodger Stadium. And there'd be a 5'7" Asian guy on the posters instead of The Reem :lol: I'd probably want the opening music to be Requiem for a Dream before cutting over to Coming Home by Alter Bridge once I came out of the Dodgers dugout for the walk to the ring.

    ****, why did you come up with this thread? Daydreaming these ideas up is too much fun, it makes me sad that it could never conceivably happen :yep

    I've been an Angels ticket holder for years. I am completely comfortable there, love being outdoors (especially on a SoCal summer evening), and it is 20 minutes from home.

    It would suck to pay California taxes, but for one night I would love to pack a place filled with so many memories for me.

    Nice call. It is #1 on my list of ballparks to visit.

    @HawkFan16: Dodger Stadium hosted one night of boxing in its history, right around the time it opened. One of the fighters in the main event died as a result of his injuries and the stadium has never hosted a sanctioned fight again.

    Angels Stadium is nice, but the way they expect you to pay 7 bucks for a frozen lemonade is ridiculous. They probably have the worst prices of any stadium I've been to.
