Something is seriously wrong if Montoya faces legal pressure from GBP because of what he's printed so far. He has not broken any laws or slandered or defamed anyone. He has stopped far short of that.

Personally, I think the ACLU has grounds for getting involved here. GBP is leveraging its vast resources in order to inhibit a reporter from doing his job.

I'm referring what surrounds you in relation to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

So, Golden Boy sent you a letter - out of the clear blue - telling you to stop spreading a rumor about Floyd testing positive 3 times, even though you hadn't said any such thing?

What is "IIRC?" I am very interested in the tactics this particular promoter uses (to muzzle the press).

    if i recall correctly.

They've temporarily banned him from shows or took his credentials at one point awhile back. Their beef is not new

You might want to see what The ACLU actually does first. This isn't their field.

    This letter came years later.

The Floyd chest piking thing is hilarious. Guys actually think I went after him because of that and they focus on it. What they miss is why he did that. All I did was ask him "Why now?" I had to ask it like 5 times because he avoided it more and more vehemently until he got physical. He made that question important by avoiding it. He made the situation weird by taking a normal question and making it fighting words.

So yeah. After that, it made me go "Why so angry? Why not just answer the question?"

And I started asking questions not just on the Pacquiao side anymore as everyone demands but everywhere.

Where did I "pretend?" Are you sure that's just not how you and others took why I printed "The Correspondence?" Did you read the companion piece that came put the following week?

And I am not worried in the slightest about this "shitstorm." I don't lose sleep at all unless I am working. Then I just sleep in.

The ACLU is focused on freedom of speech issues, among other things. That includes freedom of the press.
