Derek Chisora vs David Tua. Who take this slugger fest

If this were still 1996? Tua tears Chisora's head off in a ridiculously brutal, violent highlight reel KO. A come-forward swarmer without serious power or elusive defensive movement skills is the most favorable matchup imaginable for Tua.

Now? The faded husk of the Monster that was once David Tua gets outworked to a sloppy UD loss.

 

Chisora has a 50% KO ratio.

Not exactly the mark of a slugger.

99% of fighters who go toe to toe with tua would not do well.

exceptions is if you have great stamina , great chin and durability. like an ike ibeabuchi.

which is rare at heavyweight.

Tua was being thoroughly out-boxed by Fres Oquendo before Fres started ****ing around, trying to be cute and got KTFO.

Someone like...Wlad...or maybe even Helenius...who could keep him at a distance would be fine. It worked for Lennox.

Also, a smaller guy who can move and has good technical skills, like Byrd, would be able to possibly win. (worked for Byrd)

Tua knocks Chisora out cold and walks away smiling calmly if Chisora slaps him.

Ibeabuchi probably murders Chisora for real and then flies into a generalized rage and attacks people restraining him until he gets tased a half-dozen times and arrested.

In either case, Chisora wouldn't dare slap either man. He only slapped Vitali because he knew Vitali wouldn't hit him back. The Klitschko brothers are both too serene and restrained to get provoked by that kind of thing. Wlad didn't even punch Chisora after getting spit in the face by him.

Chisora would never slap a guy with a short fuse who would get provoked easily and hit him back harder than he could ever hit them. Hence, he wouldn't slap Tyson, Tua, Ibeabuchi, Golota, Foreman during the 70s, Ron Lyle, Sonny Liston, Jack Dempsey, etc. Only a suit-wearing, businessman-esque robot like Vitali or Wladimir.

 

Chisora is no slugger! Dude has mediocre power at best for a HW.

Tua would annihilate him in typical nasty fashion. He'd put Chisora's lights out
