Yes it was. Yours and other detractors assumptions were created out of thin air which is what For the Record illustrates, among other things. I put out the Correspondence, waited a week to see the landscape and the wrote "For the Record."

I was never affiliated with Scoop. In fact, I had to track him down so I could yell at him and tell him what a horrible hack job he did by taking my article and making another one with his name on it that misrepresented my work and created people like yourself who are ill-informed.

Re Iole, he will criticize when he feels it's justified and give respect where it's due. He doesn't let his personal feelings toward fighters get in the way of his stories about them and is very neutral in the GBP vs TRP war. Just my opinion. He's certainly not as ambitious as you are and instead tries to mainly focus on positives and trying to provide exposure to the big fights and fighters that deserve it. With that said, both (your and his style) are needed and valuable IMO.

I like what you're doing but feel that you are going at certain angles while avoiding others out of your own agenda and best interests as a boxing journalist. I hope that you prove me wrong. Steve Kim recently accused Rafael of changing his stance towards a certain promotional company, likely along the lines of my post that you replied to, so it's essential for you and Maxboxing to show a higher level of integrity here so that your work on this issue is not completely disregarded.

I also hope Iole doesn't read your "holding him responsible" comment above or else it will definitely light a new fire to the "dead horse" twitter war.
