Some of us would say BOXING benefited. Peterson for sure. Berto, judgement pending for me.

 

I'm speaking in terms of the entities with monetary interest. After catching Peterson and Berto, Vada's stock went through the roof.

 

VADA and USADA use the same lab so VADA isn't faking results. That would have to be the lab and the lab isn't supposed to know whose sample they are testing. That info remains with the people that sent the sample in.

 

Conte's connection is a big red flag for me. None of us know exactly why peterson chose to go with Vada, so we can only speculate. As "cycling" is already a big part of using steroids, we can assume that he thought his schedule was good enough, but why push the envelope. You beat the system you were using. Because neither of us know what conversations took place during the time he decided to push for Vada, we can also speculate that there is some unknown common element that convinced both Berto and Peterson to ask for Vada testing. The only entity that would gain notoriety and money from this fiasco was Vada. They are suspicious to me.

Golden Boy may have chosen VADA since this was on their cards.

 

Could be. This whole thing just doesn't smell right to me. Both of these fighters requested the extra testing, stuck their chest out and said "I'm clean"...then pop.

 

Dude. WTF? In Peterson's case he basically confessed and you say "This whole thing just doesn't smell right to me." :huh

 

This is the world we live in at the moment...the Pac/Bradley fight was 'close' and Peterson is innocent even though he admitted it.

 

You misunderstood the point I was trying to make. I am not saying that Peterson is not guilty, but rather that I do not trust Vada either in this. I know he confessed.

Sorry to butt in, but this is really confusing. VADA's success w/ catching guys using a more strict guideline then USADA makes you suspicious? Or the success w/ Conte involved? :huh

 

Feel free. Its both, and the fact that they caught 2 boxers that requested extra testing. Conte was and is in the business of deception. How is anything that he is involved with not suspect?

 

i always thought floyd was using this to cover his arse. he doesnt give 2 shites about boxing. he even did a video saying he only cares about his family, fug the fans, that his health comes 1st. i always like that old bi--ical saying, "let he who is without sin cast the 1st stone"
