cant remember when his jaw was broken but there was a round where it looked like he was telling garcia his jaw was broken but continued a few rounds after that. The last round where he took those hooks looked really painful.

    war ortiz!

What new did we find out? When the going gets tough, he finds a way to check out early.

No excuses for Ortiz. He's gutless, heartless, no balls, isn't Mexican and should retire instead of running his mouth like he's so confident, and then quitting like a scared little punk. He taints the great fighters that have gone through the same or worse. Guys like Jake Lamotta getting pummeled and beaten badly vs Ray Robinson, but refusing to quit. Ali vs Norton with that swollen jaw getting hammered all while broken, but never quitting in the ring. Arturo Gatti bloodied, beaten in many of his fights, but never finding a way out. Juan Manual Marquez getting dropped 3 times vs Paquiao, bloodied, battered and never quitting. And all of the great Mexican and Mexican American fighter that fought their hearts out through pain, but never looking to quit. Victor ortiz, you ar an embarrassment to those fighters that get up each morning and look for a chance to fight for a title and make some money even though no one knows who they are. The same kind of fighter that is Josesito Lopez. He had no chance, a huge underdog, and losing the fight, but what did he do? He fught with the heart and courage of a lion and beat you to win the world boxing championship, something that you quit on as you have done in your past. Time for you to retire and do your modeling, something you're much better at than boxing. :verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad:verysad

    Not much.

He cheap shotted Lopez worse that Floyd did him. And what he did to Lopez was illegal.

He got knocked out by Lopez. If he had any heart, he should have taken Lopez out in the early rounds. He's still got mental issues. Dirty tactics and illegal punches shows his lack of mental strength.

Ortiz did quit against Maidana, ahowed plenty of guts vs Berto , did not quit vs FLoyd(as some idiots suggest) and made the right choice in his last fight.

On the other hand, he does tend to get dirty when things don't go his way.
