****Ricky Burns vs Kevin Mitchell: Build Up Thread****

mitchel has about as much chance of winning this than i have of driving down to Anglesey and banging the arse offa kate middleton .
like i posted on the 'other side' ,mitchell is euro class,just, and burns is just about world class.

Burns will win on the cards after a bit of home cooking but we will know Mitchell won

 

Only way Burns would get a KO is if they wheel out Cook again.

I'm still not sold on Burns, the ratio of his good/bad opponents at 'world' level has been dire.

Can't wait for next sexy Mitchell poster though!!

 

i won't be putting money down as i don't gamble but, mitchell is going to knock him out. i'm a fan of burns but i'm just telling it like it is.

will be interesting to read all the posts when mitchell becomes the new champ. especially after most doubting him.

 

Nobody doubts Kevins ability its just Ricky has so much more ability and team Mitchell know it!

 

So many have said all this **** before, fighters who have fought/sparred Ricky and said "hes the best ive shared a ring with" mate your talking through the brown dept! highlight the glaring hole super trainer?

 

Let's not forget that Rocky Martinez put him down in the first round. Nobody can dispute that Kevin Mitchell hits harder than Martinez.

Its by no means a mismatch. Yes Mitchell was KO'd by a fresher Katsidis but its clear from Burns KO ratio that he isn't a massive puncher.

Burns can be hit and can be hurt. That being said, he is rightly a strong favourite here because who knows how Mitchell is going to turn up.

Burns is quick but so is Mitchell.
Mitchell probably punches harder than Burns.
Burns has been in big, world title fights and won - Mitchell hasn't.
Burns WILL be well prepared and ready - Mitchell might.

 

Anybody see how fat Mitchell looks! He looks like a scruff as well, saw him on Ringside last night.

Burns will dominate Kev, maybe even force the late stoppage.

 

Very true, I do talk through the brown dept, it's like a form of tourettes and I said Ricky would get beat before and I was wrong, and like may others I came on here, held my hans up and congratulated Ricky and even your good self and a great win.

I will not be wrong this time, i'm convinced of it.

haha, i'm not a super trainer, far from it but be honest Mr Nelson if you were in the other corner are you telling me Ricky Burns is the complete fighter? you see no holes? you could not find a few big things to exploit? Mitchell has all the tools to exploit them and he will do in september.

One thing is for sure Mitchell will not underestimate anything Ricky can do, he will be prepared to face the absolute very best Ricky Burns and will pay him the respect he deserves... more respect than you have shown Kevin Mitchell on here.

Mate im not disrespecting Kevin at all hes a good fighter imo a little overrated whos not proven at world level (Now thats fact).
Kevin has a lot more holes in him than Ricky beleive me,no Ricky isnt a complete fighter nobody is but hes a hellava lot closer to being one than Kevin purely my opinion (results dont lie):good
