Mayweather relies on reactions and physical gifts a bit but he's got a pretty solid boxing core to go back on. Pacquiao doesn't, not to the same degree . His style is pure speed / explosiveness. Similiar to Mike Tyson / Roy Jones - those styles don't age well.

hatton and Hoya were bad against sotuhpaws? What about Cotto? Clottey, Margo, ? Coincidentally I'm guessing they were all just tailor made for Pacquiao. Barrera?

A few years ago, maybe even a year, Pacquiao would have ran through Bradley. He would have beaten the dog**** out of him. The reason Bradley had sucess was because Pacquiao has slowed down and he fights on auto pilot now. He even admitted that Pacquiao has declined and said the old PAcquiao would have taken him out. If youve followed Pacquiaos career at all its obvious how badly hes delcine. he looks like a shell. He's got a year left, if that. He needs to retire.

True. It's almost as stupid as those idiots who clame Marquez was roided up in the fight.

Clean, significant (to Pacquiao standards) blows. Yes.

You posted some gifs that all supported this claim.

My offer still stands. I am open to recant when proven wrong.

    One fight = judges' error.

Pac is 2-0-1 in 3 fights vs Marquez.

Same here i honestly believe most athletes at the top level are on something including Mayweather. I also think Pac has something to hide by not taking the test, **** the pair of them!!

Merchant has lost the plot, he takes longer than Nelson Mandela to finish a sentence!!!

I'm new to esb and I'm just about done with it as well. Never in my life have I seen people so hard headed and ignorant. Opinions opinions opinions. Even after watching a fight n we all see the same fight u people argue cuz ur all arrogant biased and the vast majority of u know very little about this sport. Scoring a fight is not difficult. Heatedly arguing who will win a fight is pointless. What happened to picking a winner and simply giving your reasons for coming up with that conclusion? For instance...I take PAC over may and the main reason is pacs southpaw. If PAC was orthodox I give it to may. Anyone who argues that PAC ducks anyone is a moron. And anyone who says may doesn't is equally moronic. It isn't hard to figure people the evidence is clear and concise in that regard. could may maybe beat PAC? Of course..is mays career far more selective to suit his skill set? Obviously PAC will decline before tho n if I know that so does mays people. Further they go without fighting the more it leans toward may winning. Im sure pacs people know this as well.

    You're not obligated in staying.

    Interesting...

    Hmm...

    And yours is...

    Hold on, wait. What?

What were you saying about ignorance and know nothing about the sport?

    Oh.

The simple answer is that he was exposed by Marquez.

His fans liked to make out that since the second Marquez fight that Pacquiao had become some sort of machine that would walk though everyone, some people did point out that a lot of his improvements had to do with the type of fighters he was being matched against, which were slow, come forward types that had little movement and of course Pacquiao unleashed the 'Manilla Ice' and other silly names *******'s had for his combinations easily on them.

Yet when he got back in the ring with Marquez for a third fight it turns out that he hasn't improved massively at all and has the same problem with skilled boxers that he's always had, realising this and being aware that Marquez isn't anywhere near the skill level of Mayweather it suddenly dawned on them that Manny doesn't have much chance of winning a fight with Floyd.

So then they decided to push the point about how Pacquiao has declined as the only reason that Mayweather would beat him and that if they had fought in 2009 Pacquiao would have destroyed him (forgetting that in 2009 Mayweather absolutely schooled the same guy that Pacquiao has always struggled with 12-0) in the hope that if they say it often enough it will become fact, like how Mayweather ducked everyone decent etc.

They also like to push the point that Mayweather has never beaten a prime ATG so knowing that Mayweather will likely beat Pacquiao if they met they want to get in about him being past prime so they can hold on to this.

    :hi:

I don't know what on Earth goes through your head but Pacquiao is nothing like Roy Jones, if anything Mayweather is more like him but to be honest Roy was very unorthadox and just a one of a kind.

Also yes by the way Barrera is a natural left hander as well. You go search that up mate.  I did say as well that I believe Cotto is naturally left handed although I'm not sure.

Spot on post really. I do think Pacquiao may still give Mayweather a lot of problems though as styles make fights and Marquez isn't exactly going to outbox Mayweather is he, but Pac may outslug him. Still fancy Mayweather by a razor thin decision though.

I agree with a lot of points made by you. Unfortunetly I fall into the trap far too often of bighting which ends up in an endless argument.
