So who is running Maidana's twitter? I heard he doesn't even go on the internet!

He has no power at 147 and will have even less at 154 and there is no way his Chin holds up. He is going to get brutally KOed if this happens.

Losing to Kotelnik, Khan, Alexander and BARELY scraping by a way past prime Morales shows he doesn't belong at the highest level. I do admire his heart, but the way people talk about him here.. he's criminally overrated.

GBP are starting to really **** me off...They could have at least got someone like Gabriel Rosado if they didnt want the likes of Trout ot Lara...But Maidana??? Seriously?? This **** really makes Canelo look bad...why cant they realize this?

thats what he deserves, Chavez vs. Martinez and Top Rank win the battle I mean if they ever get the fight signed.

I'd put the blame more on GBP...and Sauliman for gifting Canelo for that ****ing belt.

I dont believe this, and will wait for an official announcement.

Why would Maidana commit suicide like this?

Kotelnik, Khan and Alexander are all world-class fighters. One of them was a close decision that could have gone either way (against the guy that whooped Alexander), the other was a brave effort in a FOTY fight, and the last one was at a higher weight that he was clearly ineffective at. There's no shame in losing to them the way he did. He also fathered Ortiz, may I remind you. You know, that same Ortiz that was such a good opponent for Mayweather. And he didn't do to bad against Cayo either - dispatching of him in half the time Lamont Peterson did (the same Lamont Peterson who'd go onto beat Khan - all be it by cheating, I suppose).

He's maybe past his best now -- 2008 to 2010 were his best years -- but to say he's never belonged at the highest level, is plain wrong.

GB moving Maidana as far away from Khan as possible.:-(

Serious though Oscar can ****ing do better. Went from some solid 154lb step-ups to a welterweight and now what should be a 140lb-der. If Maidana gets injured they'll probably go for Abner Mares next.

Chavez Jr is rapidly pulling away from Alvarez in recent/near future competition.
