Next to Louis and possibly Tyson, my favourite heavyweight. Class act.

LOL I was going to, but I can't pull it off the same as you buddy.

Honestly though, people seem to think a Prime Louis destroys Marciano.. and I just don't see it that way. I see Marciano style as one that would always do quite well against Joe no matter when the fight took place.

My point Im tryin to make about if Walcott fought Rocky when he was 30 is that all things being equal meaning Walcott would be a fulltime fighter. No fulltime jobs or going hungry. The same advantages as Rocky. As for the others I stand by what I said.

I'm a very big Foreman fan but because you said this list was based on "pure fighting skills" then he has no reason to be in the top 10.

Niether would Dempsey, Ezzard Charles is far superior in "pure fighting skills" and also beat your man Walcott twice and an older Louis.

Holyfield has more "pure fighting skills" than Tunney

Lewis has more "pure fighting skills" than Foreman

Lists are completely subjective but honestly bits of your list make absolutely no sense:huh.

I'd also wager Marciano has more "pure fighting skills" than Dempsey who you placed above Walcott depsite the fact Walcott is far more skilled.

:lol::lol: Tunney? Tunney has a total of 7 career fights at heavyweight, never fights Jack Sharkey or George Godfrey, and you put him in the top 10?

    Dempsey at 3?

Tunney went 71-1 in era when matches were more competitive. He proved he could handle self well at heavyweight , and at 190 he was still very lean.

Dempsey was one of greatest, if not the greatest, why you or anyone questions him is weird. GUy did so much, beat so many. He aslo, after reitirng, toured in exhibitions with Max Baer, and they were rough sessions. He also ko'd Tony Galetno in Stillmans gym in 1936 sparring session.

Marciano is one of the greatest fighters of all time, pound-for-pound.

He made his opponents fight for their lives, he brought the best out of them in the ring but often left them ruined for the rest of their careers.

Mr. Nate Miller did better : Bert Cooper , Orlin Norris , Muhammad Qawi .
Go & match them with d Cream , Charles , Wright & Louis whom Marchegiano beat .

Its really hard to evaluate boxers.
Since all of them have different styles.you cant really tell who's better at prime, depends alot of the guys style.

    as an exe
    fighter 1 fight fighter 2 - fighter 1 wins
    fighter 1 fights fighter 3 - fighter 3 wins
    fighter 2 fights fighter 3 - fighter 2 wins

    Who is better? fighter 1 2 3 ? :huh

so i guess we all have fav but we cant judge whos right and wrong right?

The Greatest Heavyweight from 1950 thru 1955.

Retired at the right time, and did not get tempted with the dollars to
    foolishly come back.

Trained hard, and always came to a fight in shape.

Put out 100% of his energy.

Always entertaining, and a very exciting professional fighter to watch.

You can't ask for more than that.
