inactivity. Against Cotto though he proved otherwise.

A fast smart athletic.fighter with a good jab and range can outwork him and win via.decision. Amir Khan possesses everything but the smarts lol. He has all the physical attributes but none.of.the mental ones.
Its a shame because I want to see Mayweather lose, not because I hate him but because I feel he needs to be humbled.

Couldn't agree more, though I would like a little more pop in his fists. With that said, one can make an argument that his biggest weakness is not seemingly having the greats of the past type competition.

Yeah, inside the ring, no weakness.

The weakness is actually how to get inside the ring.

an earlier cotto would not have fought anything like he did, he would have had a completely different game plan would have been far more aggressive, would have been picked apart.

Without a doubt. Old Cotto wouldn't have insisted on 10oz gloves either. Likely would have been his demise because he got buckled in the last round with 10's.

Earlier Cotto(e) had quite a few technical flaws like bad balance. His right hand wasn't as great, the main power punch that can get to Floyd. He would also be tasked with facing a 147 pound Mayweather.

Mayweather's biggest weakness in the ring is over confidence. that's what gets him inot trouble early in fights. once his opposition gets his respect, then he does good to ensure he ahs their's. but it can be very risky for him.

Mayweather have more weakness than people care to point out. Here are a few.

    1. His shoulder roll is not as effective against southpaws.
    2. He can't pull counter aggressive fighters or fighters without enough speed. He barely used the pull counter against Cotto.
    3. He falls into the right hand sometimes. He actually leans left, making the landed punch more effective.
    4. He falls into the ropes when he gets in trouble and stays there for too long. Cotto took advantage of it numerous times.
    5. His pride/ego. If his ego wasn't so big, he would have made the fight with Pac already.
