Great fight, but Juanma is still a beast at 126 and he's a proven warrior. I like GRJr, but acouple more fights by slowly raising the quality than get his shot at Juanma. PDL vs GRJr would be great.
Juanma is a big step up tbh, Gary's still a prospect Lopez is a former world champion even tho i think Gary would knock him out id respect him for steppin up that big in class
exactly. its crazy how he's all of a sudden a "bum" because hes been KO'd twice by the same person. they completely forget he was once a world champ and ranked pretty high not too long ago. no matter what u think of Juanmas current status, Russell fighting him this early is a big step up and should be respected if he does.
Ye definitely, Juanmas still dangerous but his style was wrong for Salido who was always gonna ko him, tbh its the perfect fight for Gary to show he can beat decent opposition, he just gotta be careful steppin up opponents after Lopez because they wont all be comin off a knockout loss
