H2H. Not resume or ATG Rankings.

    H2H.

    Heavyweight for me is

    1- Prime Tyson
    2- Prime Lennox Lewis
    3- Prime Ali

    WelterWeight 147-154

    1- Prime Sugar Ray Leonard
    2-Prime Sugar Ray Robinson
    3-Prime Hearns

I feel at 147-154 the 6'1-6'2 Hearns is just too big for any WW in the history of the sport other then Leonard and maybe Robinson.

Really not much wiggle room with those lists. I feel Ali or Lennox are #1 and #2 along with Tyson.

I also would pick Oscar to KO Hearns. :hi:

You will put Prime Oscar ahead of Prime Hearns?

In h2h Match ups? I got prime Oscar really really high up there cuz he was a big WW also with amazing skills.

But Prime Hearns seem to be a bit too much.

I dunno, I feel Hearns and Oscar would do about the same against the best welterweights, ever except Oscar would last the distance and Hearns either wins by KO or gets KO'd. But I am down with your list.

Though I certainly wouldn't put him at the top of a H2H list, I think the flat-out toughest fight for anybody in particular best-for-best is against Evander Holyfield. One of the grimiest, dirtiest, most rugged, toughest mother****ers ever. You will NOT stop him. Unless he's got Hep A or having a heart attack in the ring.

    Heavyweights:
    1. Holmes
    2. Lewis
    3. Ali

All I know is that those 3 would be very difficult to beat in shape and in their primes for anyone in history. What order they go in I don't know.

    Welterweights:

    1. Leonard
    2. Robinson
    3. Hearns

Most will have Robinson #1, and that may very well be correct. Any round robin with those 3 would be terrific.

    Heavyweights:
    1. Joe Louis.
    2. Muhammad Ali
    3. Jack Dempsey

But I have to say I love Tyson, Holyfield, Holmes, M Spinks and Ezzard Charles.

    Welterweights:
    1. Ray Robinson
    2. Ray Leonard
    3. Wilfred Benitez

But I have to say I deeply respect ( not exactly love) Tito, Hearns, Floyd, ODLH, Marlon Starling, Don Curry and Pernell Whitaker.
