What's with the Mathysse hype? He beat 1 credible dude in the last 4 years. Top 10?

    Top 10 p4p? Are you kidding me.

    The only good fighter he's beaten is Soto.

    He lost on paper to Judah/Alexander. Now I'm not saying he won't be a p4p fighter in the future, but you guys are jumping on the wagon a bit too fast.

    He needs a few more wins against elite opposition, not cans.

    Not at all. I don't care much or if at all about him. Just asking why he's being ranked so high without beating any elites.

    He's beaten Soto, and unofficially, Judah, and Alexander. I'm pretty sure the last 3 were all in the top 10, and so, he merits the ranking.

    EDIT: Thought you meant at 140. I don't know anybody who ranks him in the top 10 P4P.

    I agree.

    He got too much credit for knocking him down. Which is great, but he lost pretty much a majority of the **** before that.

    Beat Judah. Beat Alexander. Not top 10 pfp, but certainly much better than he's given credit for, considering he's essentially undefeated.

    exactly. had it gone one more roudn he might have got the stoppage. but he simply didnt do enough.

    He lost to Judah but clearly beat Alexander, with his style he can give anyone in the division trouble but you cant rank him high because he only got one good win that he lost

    Who did Ortiz beat when you *****s were claiming he was the "young hungry lion"? He lost to Maidana worst than Matthyse "lost".

    He did neat Judah actually, we can´t call it a robbery but if there was a winner he is Matthysse.....and he beat Alexander too. The problem was where the fight was placed :conf
    And now Soto......that´s pretty pretty good.

    Nobody gives a **** about whats on paper fans who see the fights will know Lucas got robbed against Judah and Alexander. Hopefully he gets a rematch.
