Has Andre Ward got a better resume at 168 than Calzaghe already?

Dawson isn't that good. That hype train died long ago.

 

when counting resumes, i look at more than just names. the names don't mean much of anything if they all bring the same style. ward has fought better opposition so far hands, down. he's even fighting the guy who calzaghe fled into retirement to not fight (Dawson). that said, whether ward wins or loses, if he eclipse 40 wins in his career and even loses 5 or 6 bouts, his resume will be better than calzaghe's. he already has calzaghe beaten in terms of quality, but calzaghe dominated for a long time even if it was against a bunch of bums. it only takes one punch.
still ward won't get any respect until he fights outside of oakland.

Dawson is better than anyone that JC has ever beat. I am obviously a huge Ward fan, but I think it is a mistake to fight Dawson. A motivated Dawson is the best fighter from 168-200.
