    Acevedo is starting to rip some hooks up to the head, swiveling into them with his lead foot anchored. Martinez is backing up and throwing hard rights and left hooks behind them, landing well over and between the gloves. Acevedo is tossing bombs, hard but wide, all over Martinez's face. BIG left hook by Acevedo. Martinez's head snapped back and eyes rolling back for a second. He stays up, and answers back with some high jabs backing up. Hard right hand to the cheek by Acevedo. Uppercuts by Acevedo pushing in, grinding Martinez into the ropes. Uppercuts landing behind the gloves of Martinez. Lunging right hands as Martinez leans back against the ropes trying to line up straight counters. Martinez moves off the ropes and circles away.

    Close round, but the edge goes to Acevedo with his work against the ropes. Martinez looks lost when pressured, but does some decent work when there is some distance between the two.

    Martinez lands some hooks and looping rights coming forward, eating a flush right hand while throwing but getting three times as many touches in. Martinez leans in, arms folded up at his chest, and tosses an overhand right as Acevedo hooks him in the face leaping forward to force a retreat. Martinez is knocked back into the ropes while pulling straight back as a hook crashes into his unprotected jaw. Martinez fights his way off the ropes, then circles right with a few jabs. Jab, right, jab, right, jab, right jab to the head by Acevedo. BIG RIGHT HAND BY MARTINEZ coming back off the ropes! A few hooks! Acevedo is bloodied up now! Martinez has been bleeding since the 2nd round. Uppercut by Acevedo as they press together. Martinez circles left, then right, stretching and shaking out his arms on the outside, then popping jabs to the body, being evasive to ride out the last twenty seconds.
