Martinez gassed. Had a nice rally there, but lost the round and the fight.

    3-1 Acevedo.

Got to give that last round to Martinez. This fight could be either a close decision to Acevedo or a draw.

    10-9 Acevedo

Another pretty close round, but Acevedo just did more work. Martinez has some good moments, but there just wasn't enough offence from him. Fun fight, overall.

    39-37 Acevedo

And after that last round, I have no problem nominating this as the a solid candidate for best prelim/swing bout of 2012. Since I also have it 28-28, I have no problem with matching these guys up again in the future. :yep :bbb

Martinez could have success with that quick straight right hand if his. He just needs to dork it off the jab and learn some footwork.

Decision is fair enough. Every round outside of the first was very close.
