Extremely disrespectful, but to be expected from such a rubbish poster.

I remember there being some suggestion that Roy would enter a UK Prizefighter tourney at one point. The first prize for that is only $50k which I'm sure he could pick up in a couple of personal appearances so I don't think money is the issue, at least I hope its not. It's amazing how these guys get through so much money when they must spend most of their adult life sleeping and in the gym.

Net worth means if he liquidates, i.e. gets rid of, all of his assets he would be worth $45 million and that is probably a highly inflated figure from a questionable source. Do you understand or did you also believe that Mike Tyson and Holyfield were balling before they announced bankruptcy?

who really knows as to the extent of roy's financial problems. it is an odd situation tho that roy keeps fighting at age 43 or so and has been willing to get in the ring with legit cruisers (don't know this replacement guy, hear he's not a hard hitter...) and risk and endure getting his lights turned out (as in the ledbedev fight). especially since even his fans have to admit that he was at least very risk conscious/adverse while in his prime. also, he has acknowledged suffering neurological damage by the fact that he sought unconventional treatment for it with a chiropractor a couple of years ago. whatever his motivation, it appears at least that he's fighing cuz he has money problems

Not if the tax man has a lien on you. Then 99% of the income goes straight to the IRS and he basically is cut a welfare check of whatever he earns.

What people don't understand is that the IRS is the originator of most personal bankruptcies percentage wise.

I can post 8 different links from back in the day from moronic journalists and nuthuggers claiming that Tyson and Holyfield weren't broke. Jones is not fighting because he loves it. He's not fighting because he's delusional enough to think he is going to be a World Champion again. He's doing it because he owes the IRS and god knows who else loads of money. Why the **** do you think he isn't paying them? Because taunting the IRS when they have a lien on you is fun?:lol::rofl:patsch

Wake up, nuthugger. The guy isn't travelling around the World having his Glass Jaw Shattered for any reason other than the Fact that he can't pay his bills and the only other means of debt relief for him is to liquidate all of his assets which would leave him with nothing. When you get to high school they'll teach you about this stuff.
