How does Franklin do in his prime in the Pride fighting Championships? I am tired of people whinning about his stoppage wins over Nogeiura x2 and Cro Cop. How would Mir do vs Josh Barnett? Vs Sergei Kharitonov ? Overeem when he sucked in Pride pre steroid addict? Werdum? Fedor? How would Mir rank in Pride?
He is an up and down fighter..... same would apply in Pride, some very good wins and so very bad loses.
Poorly. Mir evolved as a grappler and striker and became much more experience. A younger Mir was poorly conditioned and would freeze when hurt.
Sometimes you get the feeling Mir is grateful for the pre-fight introductions, a bit of a breather for him after the strenuous walk to the cage. :yep :hat
Very true. Mir would've been ****ed against guys with decent cardio and sub defence. But of course his fans think he'd have beaten both Bog and Crocop in their primes, back when he was either subbing someone quickly or getting beatdown.
I have never been High on Frank. Always seem to get the big Push all the time...so I would say...not good. Prime Nog vs Frank would be fun..but would go with Nog on the fact that he ((out of his prime)) gave Frank a hard time. Plus Frank has never had a good gas tank. Frank would get beat from top 5 of pride. But Mark, Kevin, Sapp, and the others Frank could and would beat. Fedor, Cro-Cop, Nog, would win....Werdum wold be a good fight also for Frank.

The format would of destroyed him , not to mention the competition , Mir was regarded as one of the UFC's top HW's but wouldn't of made top 10 in the world at the time Early on he'd a been murdered i feel
Forgot about the 10 minute opener. That would see Mir lose to a number of fighters outside of Fedor, Barnett, CC and Nog.
Mir fans don't count that tho. Since Mir wasn't in his prime yet. Which is ironic since they count the Nog and Mirko fights, even tho both were past it.
