Conte is indeed a suspicious character. He seem to feel slighted by USADA/WADA who never really acted well on the information that he gave them. And they seem to have tried to freeze him out of the anti doping "scene" as well. One conclusion, however, that Conte has publicly forwarded from that is that USADA may actually not be entirely interested in catching cheaters (see for example the drop in testing just before the 2008 olympics, Conte pointed that out).

Why some of us gives theories like that just a tiny bit of credibility is the corruption in the predecessor to USADA where those responsible let positive athletes compete alledgely because they felt eastern block states had an unfair advantage. Today the situation is similar where Caribbean and African athletes can do whatever they want, and it shows in the results.

I really want a clear yes or no to the rumour about GBP and USADA. If true this is much bigger than the little pond that is boxing.

What's funny is Floyd fans have been given a key into that history recently. They were given a name (not by me) and they don't even get it.

I'm not trying to downgrade the crime. I am showing the hypocrisy of selectively outraged fans. These guys are defending a man in jail for smacking around the mother of his kids in front of her. Will they be as unforgiving of Floyd when he returns? The best fighter in the world hitting a woman?

I say we never forget but certainly forgive Conte's past and look at his current message.

What? The nonsense I'm talking about is the comments ---"Just a bit of editorialising, but in light of the release of the drug test results for Mayweather vs Miguel Cotto via pres release, this seems odd. If every single result is negative, why not release the medical data supporting the press released results?"--- It has **** to do with Floyd's lawyers requesting something of Pac..

I'm talking about the fact that it is has been reported that Mayweather did not receive notice of the subpoena, which is required, and that is the first reason listed as to why USADA motioned to quash the request. Whoever originally wrote that quote above ignored that very important part, then wrote what I quoted saying it's very odd for them to do so. I'm asking if you are the person who originally wrote that?

Of course, everything is not black and white. In most cases, you wouldn't be able to tell the state of mind of the threatening party. Telling someone who feels that they have been legally wronged that they can't even notify the offending party of the alleged wrongdoing has much bigger negative consequences than allowing anyone to threaten legal action for any reason they feel like.

I completely disagree, for reasons I've already explained above. GBP's lawyers know how to play poker, and that includes raising the ante, and bluffing, against under-financed opponents. Any lawyer worth his weight in salt knows how to play this game. It happens all the time. Sadly, it works.

Who gives a ****? This was the same Gabe that banned himself from mayweather v cotto the biggest fight of 2012 out of moral principle:rofl

The guy is not a serious reporter he has proved that by his actions.
