So I'm moving over to oz for a year soon and just wanted a crash course in the present state of australian boxing. Good prospects/ domestic fights with potential to be exciting that sort of thing. Also is it mostly televised or is it hard to find places to watch domestic boxing? WOR feel free to forgo the "We're Full" photo
leapai vs demori (but hes too gutless) or,; leapai vs welliver...(but he also is too scared) leapai vs ......not many other local heavies in his class. as for pure 'potential to be exciting' leapai being 'a power hiting heavyeight' would be australias best. .
OZ boxing is ok, just as corrupt as the rest of the world, but we still see some good fights. FTA TV never shows anything, you must have pay TV (Foxtel) to get a whiff of anything. Lastly, don't listen to anything TC, WOR, and Sally (swingin) says, as they are all complete ****sticks. :deal Watch out for Teke too, he has at least 20 aliases going.
He's no match for the NZ heavyweight champ, Sonny Bill Williams. Last I heard Leapai was ducking, afraid of SBW's Ali like slickness.
I'm not too clued up on Australian TV would that be available easily or on at pubs/bars etc? I've heard of Leapai before and watched the end of his fight with Johnson sounds like an entertaining fighter if not destined for world title domination. What is he doing then if there is not much in the local scene? Any other good fighters worth watching, even if they haven't got potential to make a big dent on the world scene?
Last thing I want to do is get involved in forum drama i've seen WOR around a bit in the lounge and he just makes me laugh I get the feeling he isn't being that serious with his act. Do you get regular domestic cards?
mate, no one takes notice of sox. hes the forum ******. we all pretty much ingnore him. he is probably francis alias. surely we couldnt have TWO complete ******s like sox and francis..?atsch .
im typing this slow, cause i know you cant read real fast sox..... now comb your hair, and wipe the dribble from youre chin before breakfast .....you know the rules...:good
The local boxing scene is **** and the match ups arent any better. Occasionally you'll get a decent scrap, but the quality of the fighters are still ****. You're better off tuning into the rugby league scene.
There are regular domestic cards around Australia, but you won't get a lot in Newcastle. Having said that, there was an Australian title decided at Panthers in Newcastle only a couple of weeks ago.
