Foreman KOs Tyson. Seriously,I love Tyson. But his come forward style is going to get him beat up against Foreman. Foreman has to be one of the worse HW match ups for Tyson in history.
Tyson isn't going face first and chin out like Joe Frazier did. He'll come forward using angles and always has his feet set and ready to attack. Foreman won't be that hard to touch standing right in front of Tyson.
IMO Tyson prob by mid rounds stoppage. Tyson was alot faster of hand, foot and body movement. He had a better array of punch combinations and whilst Foreman was a lot taller and a way bigger reach he was upright and not of great defensive skills of you and he was only 224, it's not like he was a massive heavy. Tysons combination of speed, power and elusiveness and not to mention his excellent and underrated jab would be to much for the clumsier Foreman. Foreman would always have a punchers chance, but again Tyson has/had an excellent chin.
Combat hasn't been around here for a while now unless he has an alt. Used to think him and Foreman Hook were one and the same. Not so sure anymore.
Tyson would be way to fast and accurate, slow george would not be able to land a clean shot with Tysons superb defence, KO with a big left hook by Tyson mid rounds.:bbb
People have this image conjured up of a 70s Foreman as this 240+ lb terror that would bulldoze through Tyson. Dude was 217 lbs on a 6-4 frame. The monster you're thinking about was 1990s Foreman and damn near immobile. It's like when people want to bestow 1996 Holyfield's physical strength and experience onto his ectomorphic, quick to brawl 1991 incarnation Tyson would've beat the hell out of over 12 rounds.
You could knock Tyson's ass out. After a sustained, ridiculous amount of time beating the **** out of him. He's not the type of cat you just get rid of in the early rounds, unless he tears his ACL in the first round. Tyson -may- have stamina issues. Foreman's are worse. And he's not got any type of edge where speed, technique, accuracy, use of angles, timing, combinations are concerned. Any exchange Tyson's liable to get off six shots to Foreman's one, and they will have an effect. 70s Foreman was not a superheavyweight. He wasn't much heavier than Tyson, a man six inches shorter.
Agree with everything. Slightly off topic, but I want to point out that if a 70's Prime Foreman was in today's division, he would have naturally bulk up to 230+ of muscles and be a ****ing beast. That era everyone was lighter weight wise. '''''''Tyson's accumulative punching will end up killing Prime George, ''''''' isn't there a poster name Foreman Hook on here, maybe he can enlighten us on this fight
I actually don't write off his chances that harshly. Just giving the flipside to: "Foreman KOs Tyson cuz he KOed Frazier" Tell me something people: If Frazier and Tyson are so damn exactly alike, where the **** are you with it when it comes to Tyson vs Ali? Well, they're nothing alike. Frazier was a very slow starter. Tyson was probably the fastest in division history. Frazier was an inside fighter. Tyson was a midrange assassin and far better counter-puncher in reality than he's usually given credit. He gave and took at a higher level than Joe Frazier. He did Not have Frazier's work rate and stamina over the distance.
That Tyson Foreman video is pure crap. Showing an old Foreman knocking out bums. Tyson would have knocked them out also... but in the first round... 90's Tyson could have beat 90's Foreman... Prime Foreman is a different case... 90's Tyson vs Foreman would end up with foreman putting his forearms up in fear like he did when Ali KO'd him.
