If Foreman can soak up Tyson's blows, Tyson could have a problem. Tyson only fights coming forward , and if he can't back Foreman off then he might be in trouble. Cus Dmato told Tyson to stay away from Foreman.

This is how I see it as well. Tyson's relentless movement forward and head movement are somewhat similar to Frazier (not exactly alike but similar enough to be comparable).

Don't get me wrong, Tyson has a more varied offense, is quicker and more powerful but like Smokin Joe he has to come to the inside on Big George to get his shots off and Big George has that freakish power to stop Tyson. I don't see Tyson being able to cover up and smother George like Ali was able to either.

I think Foreman is too much for Tyson.

Cus was always convinced a short, come-forward slugger would never beat 70's Foreman & I agree.

George had freakish strength, he was a monster & his height & weight dont really tell the full story. Frazier & Norton werent that much smaller than him & he threw them round the ring like a killer-whale playing with a seal. Even into his 40s he was carrying cows around & pulling trucks in training.

Tyson was a phenomonal athlete but in close Foreman will be able to manhandle & shove him around. The way George threw his uppercuts mean I can see Tyson coming forward onto something very nasty & getting knocked out within 3 or 4 rounds. Mike would get some punches in & go down fighting but style-wise Foreman has his number imo.

The staredown before the 1st bell would be epic :bbb

Lumbering Frank Bruno rocked prime Tyson.

Foreman KO Tyson (this one never goes to the scorecards)

the only reason why Foreman wanted to fight Tyson its because of the payday, Tyson was the biggest attraction back in the days

that's how I see the fight.
Round 1: Big right hand over the top by Tyson, Foreman never saw it coming and gets down flat on his ass.... got back up, Tyson rush on him, Foreman in trouble clinch on Tyson and mug him to death referee discalify Foreman

yeah and I'll probably **** in your face if a saw you mother****er, Foreman can't block, can't move his head, can't move side to side easy target... You say Foreman because he's bigger LOL, stop talking about boxing you don't know nothing, its about skills not physical strenght

I think the difference is, Ron Lyle played Foreman's game to a tee and managed to hurt him and put him down. Douglas on the otherhand, put on a boxing masterclass Foreman would never be capable of against sparring partners, and it worked to gradually lay a beat down on the lethargic Tyson who showed little movement and threw no more than 20 punches a round.

This fight goes a lot like the first Frazier fight, although I don't think Tyson gets up off the canvas more than once, if that. As someone who lived through both eras, I can tell you that Tyson has just become more and more overrated as time has gone on.

Tyson was too quick and importantly punched much more compactly. He would be able to get under George's looping shots and get in close to work. He would hurt Foreman and quick. I think he'd stop him quicker than any heavyweight could, even a prime Louis. Tyson by KO mabye 70/30. Stylistically favourable for him. I doubt George could do his trademark push against a hurricane.

What Cus said had no relevance to Tyson. Cus never said "Mike, you can never beat Foreman!" It was more for guys like Dempsey, Marciano, Patterson and Frazier, guys who came forward and swarmed over their opponents. Tyson wasn't a swarmer. He was a slugger and had more ability with a better arsenal.

Hands of iron put it best, Foreman wasn't some huge beast who'd be able to toss Tyson around. Tyson pre prison was never pushed or walked down. You had to tie him up, outmaneuver and outwork him over the course of the fight. Foreman did the exact opposite, always swinging for the fences and never tying his opponent up.

So Foreman pushes Tyson back...and then what?

I can understand how a strong case can be made for Tyson to win this fantasy bout. Speed,Quickness, better defense. I just think the case for Foreman is stronger.

His reach and height mixed with his power would just be too much for Tyson. I think Foreman's strength and reach he would keep Tyson off of him and be too much for Tyson to overcome. Tyson is just too short Foreman would push off of him all night. And as good as Tyson's defense was Foremans upper would land and quite brutally i would think. Tyson shots would hurt Foreman, but I think Foremans shots woud hurt Tyson more. As great as Tyson is, just coming forward and trying to swarm Foreman is asking to get ktfo

If they fought 10 times Foreman wins 7
