Just watched him beat Perez, looks the genuine article.
Time to test himself against a top ten fighter.
Speed to burn with a fair amount of pop.

Lara looks ready to challenge for a title, great skills.

He fought a great fight. For a southpaw he has massive right hand power and the kid he was fighting was no washed up has been or can. They were the same age and similar experience which was good to see :good

He already turned down Dib. His team thinks he isn't ready yet.

Whenever Al Heymon & the boys think Russell Jr. is ready, Billy Dib is ripe for the easy pickings.

I don't think they want to risk fighting Dib, as much as everyone here discredits Dib he is a dangerous fighter against anyone at 126.

Yep, thats the only conclusion you can come too. Dib offered him a fight, but russell is going in a softer direction it seems.

Enormously talented, but he has been matched soft. He should be stepping it up by now. Cant balme dib on this one.

  8. No rushing Russell, doesn't have to. all that talent and hard work he has a long way to go. Wonder if his brothers will all follow on the same track

Whether a tv network wants to show dib in the us is another consideration as well.

Wasnt the cancelled russell v franco fight supposed to be an eliminator? How do gbp get to challenge dib without doin an elimintor first?

Or is russells next fight an eliminator?

Russell Jr. vs Franco as the eliminator was cancelled.
Soon the IBF will force Dib to have his mandatory...but you would expect for it to be Franco.

GBP are telling US reporters they want to make the fight now...we shall see how this goes...

Dib will take this fight imo, he isnt getting any younger.

But i heard he was chasing a unifaction bout? not sure how much weight is behind that though tbh

So Russell pulls out of the mandatory, then they claim there making an offer. It seems like bull**** to me.
Dib beats him any way. Russell will be in over his head.

I will find out if it's true in the next few days. I doubt they make the offer to be honest.
