I noticed that Mayweather gets respect from fellow boxers and hardcore fans but he casuals seems to hate on him a lot. I also understand its a business decision creating the "Money May" persona against ODLH and so on and so forth. My question is could he have been regarded as the peoples champ in the same respect as these guys for our generation? I don't think so. Incredible boxer but maybe just not so nice a person. But hell I don't give a **** about that, this is boxing. Tyson was an animal an a nasty **** to boot but he was awesome. Boxers like Ali I think you can just see are good people, very likeable. I don't think Floyd is very personable or a particularly good person so no he probably couldn't have been.
i just don't think a safety first fighter would ever be accepted as a "people's" champ. casual fans i think also want their champ to be mean in the ring and somewhat reckless yet humble...an overall good guy out of the ring.
You calling me a ****** but yet you don't even know what the **** you are talking about. From Wife now to Girlfriend. You just keep making **** up. Please stop.
I don't keep up to date on the personal lifes of celebrities gay boy. Why would I care if its hes married or not. Its not like its a major differance, just semantics and irrelivent to the point. Either way hes woman beating scum. You can't pick any holes in that argument so you point out that I thaught it was his wife, so ****ing what? not everyone gives a **** about every aspect of Mayweather life.atsch
like it or not, he is the "peoples champ" for the modern era. lets not forget that Ali was hated by many, but backed up by his people. same goes for floyd.
