they only found epo in LarryO system and he admitted the rest. still dont know why he admitted to so much. Funny how they are not saying what Enzo tested positive for
Well from what I have read Maccarinelli tested positive for an over the counter dietry supplement which included a banned substance. Larry O had admitted to using 13 banned substances, including HGH and anabolic steroids. Yes they are both positive tests and yes Enzo should recieve a punishment but it's vastly different levels of abuse in my opinion and the punishment should reflect that.
I know someone who works at UK anti doping and they don't give the sentence by how many drugs u used, its just if u test positive and then the reason for it and if u admit it early. those are the only things they take into consideration. so it would be good to hear what he tested positive for first.
Cant see what good it can do a boxer, make it hard for them to make weight, most bodybuilders ive seen are hapless at boxing, a lot are not with bbbofc, they look the part, but cant fight. Dont know any drug to effect chin, ability, or punch.?
but what if drugs can help you to recover quicker? So you can train 6 hours a day and still feel fresh the next day and be able to do it all over again just as intensely?
Seeing Richie Woodhall on Sky sports on the Ortiz fight claim PED use is an american problem and there is no issue in the UK was ridiculous. Does he really believe UK fighters are not juicing?
Note: Enzo Mac was stupid to move down to 175 and clearly needed a illegal weight stripping drug to help him make weight. Body Builders put on weight, because they body build and eat 10,000 calories per day. PEDs enable you to train for longer and recover faster in any sport this is a massive massive benefit, you seriously need to wake up! Use you're brain more and attempt to be more intelligent. There are long distant runners, cyclist who have failed drug test for PEDs. PEDS are not just testosterone and Growth Hormone, it's a whole host of drugs, EPO etc So let's allow them to take PEDS. There are many retired boxers who still have skills, but they no longer have the physical attributes, and physical components of fitness to make them affective. PEDS make a massive diffence in boxing, boxing is a physical sport you mong. It's not golf or snooker, these are sports where the physical element is further more taken out of the equation. If boxing was just about having skills, fighters would be fighting until they are well into their 50's. How come boxers retire mostly in their 30s? Mate What has Roy Jones lost these days? His skills? Has he forgotten how to box? Why did Sugar Ray Leonard retire? What did he lose near the end of his career? His skills? Why did Muhammad Ali retire? Did he slow down? No? What does the term shot mean? That they have lost all their skills? Or that they no longer have the physical attributes to implement these skills..? Why isn't Mike Tyson still fighting? He was by far more skilled than most of these heavyweights, why isn't Lennox Lewis still fighting? If its just about skills? Why did he retire? Anything to do with losing fitness and physical skills? Idiot. To throw combinations like Mike Tyson take physical skills, it takes speed and power, and co-ordination. These are all physical skills, if a boxer is taking PEDS he is able to train for longer and recover faster, sparring, pad work etc his skills will improve. How do you improve you're skills in boxing? It's a physical strain to get through the skill side of the training, sparring, padwork, bag work is all physically draining. A boxer on PEDS will be able to do more of this type of training and recover faster... PEDS have a two fold affect on all training. The action of punching is a physical skill, it takes speed and the development of force to creat a damaging punch. Somebody who is physically stronger, and has the ability to generate more power, along with the knowledge of technique! Will ****ing hit harder than somebody who is physically weak with good technique! Do you think Mike Tyson was physically weak? He was benching 100 kg for a laugh when he was 13 years old, merged that with technique! And it's a deadly combination. Boxing is a sport where the aim is to inflict physical damage on you're opponent. Physical damage through physical actions, yes there is a skill element! There's a ducking skill element to sprinting, most people even when they have no disability cannot run properly, because they have poor motor skills. PEDS are dangerous in boxing. And I still say boxing is the dirtiest sport I the whole world of professional sports. It's so small minded how people think within boxing, everything is improved through hours of training. There is no such thing as a pill, that magically makes you gain 20 pounds in weight, and suddenly make you faster. PEDs just aid you're training, and I think they can make a average fighter a better fighter. I think Pacman was on steds, he couldn't hurt Bradley! But he was stopping Oscar De La Hiya in his corner, decking Shane Mosley, Commiting crimes of physical abuse against Margarito. He had this endless amount of energy and stamina. He was clearly on PEDs, refused to take Olympic styles drug testing. I believe he against JMM and Bradley he prepared in camp without the aid of PEDs and the result has been a dramatic drop in performance. It's too sudden of a drop to be anything else... I also think Pacman has been on Griwth hormone, a typical sigh is growth in head size.
Now the BBBC are conducting out of competition testing, and testing for blood (something they didn’t do previously) – I bet good old Luxembourg don’t seem like such a bad idea now :good
