Basically, the richer and more affluent Pakstani emigrants headed to the US (there aren't that many of these). So the ones you'll find there will either be students, or wealthy sons of doctors and dentists.

I'd highly disagree. I have many family relatives based in America and they're not different to any degree, and they say the same about the Pakstani's* youth that they're surrounded by also. That maybe true if you're talking about Pakstani*based more around Bradford/Birm/Manchester, though. (no offense )
