If Bute wants to keep making a living as a fighter,he'd do well to avoid a rematch with Froch. If he avoids it,people will know his level(which wasn't at all bad, just not what his fans thought/hoped) and he might even win a belt. He's certainly better than 95% of SMW's. A rematch will be brutal, and I'm not sure he'll ever recover psychologically from the first fight, far less another sound beating. Most Bute fans predicted a late stoppage for their man in the first fight. With all the best will in the world, they know their man has no chance in a rematch. None whatsoever. He should accept his place and move on.Pavlik and eventually Golovkin are the way ahead for Lucian.
Lucian will outbox and circle Froch into rematch , no doubt . He may have a fragile chin in comparasion with other top smw but he has good athleticism , speed and a great footwork to outwork Froch in rematch ! Obviously it was a wrong technical approach in the first fight, staying and trade with Froch but in their second bout , things are gonna be a little bit different ! :yep
This is a worthless fight. Bute has no Chin whatsoever and was hurt by every single shot that Froch threw, even the Jabs. I don't know why anybody would want to see a rematch of a fight that was a complete blow-out unless it is for the Shattered Glass factor which would probably be even more brutal next time around.
I really dont want to see a rematch, it is potentially a big blow for boxing and for the careers of Froch and Bute. Froch needs Kessler this year, to be FOTY. I doubt Froch cares much about that accolade but boxing has been **** this year. A Froch revolution would be very much welcomed. If its not Kessler then il settle for Pavlik even A Bute fight may even be a waste of legacy time for Froch, the fight was too one-sided to warrant a rematch. I understand that there is a rematch clause but Bute needs to be realistic here, another KO loss would be shattering both mentally and pyhsically and I hope he is smart enough to put his pride aside and fight someone that can re-build his confidence.
Bute has been exposed. Froch would beat him again, and beat him convincingly. Probably via KO. I fear that Kessler will pose a greater threat, I hope for Carl's sake, he takes an easy fight for his next then looks for the Kessler rematch in the UK, and when he feels ready.
What a pile of delusional nonsense :rofl Froch will run Bute out of the stadium again, no way he can stand up to an iron chinned and hearted warrior like Carl Froch.. :deal Bute is a glass jawed fraud.. Fact
Bute should be glad that he didn't get to fight Kessler in 06 or 07.. That would have been like Frazier-Foreman I
Fact. There is no gameplan that will allow Bute to win. None. If he tries to go blow-for-blow he will be blown out in less than six and if he tries to stick and move Iron Chinned Warrior Froch will walk him down, eat his best shots, and then savagely KO him. Bute is a stay-at-home China Chinned Chump.
After another look,I'd have to say your optimism is actually more like delusional fanlove Flashy.I just can't see any basis for your argument, and in all fairness,I don't think you can if you're honest with yourself. And don't get all shitty.I'm not trying to be nasty.Just honest. None of these three posts can really be debated against with any conviction. Each one has merits.Although I would say Carl's a bit short of time to take easy fights before Kessler. He's just had his easiest fight in years.:yep And he's in perfect shape for Kessler. Oh how so many laughed when I said Bute was a tune up for the Cobra. Who's laughing now?:think
I'm glad kess/froch isn't taking place next. . That is a fight that will ALWAYS be there for both of them, no matter what happens in their next 2-3 fights. . . I think it's a fight they should retire on, ebcause it will be so damn taxing on both of them, it might take too much out of them to fight at their peak thereafter. . . I think Froch/Pavlik will happen in October on HBO. . . Then Kessler/Shumenov will take place around the same time. . . Then in early-mid 2013, Froch will rematch Bute (win or lose against Pavlik), and Kessler/Shumenov winner will face the Cloud/Pascal winner. Then, Froch and Kessler will probably fight each other sometime in the summer-early fall of 2013. That's how I WOULD want **** to play out.
Kessler is looking for too much dough because it was clear Carl had worked him out and MK is clearly on the slide whilst Froch is on the crest of a wave. I've always respected Kess, but he needs to pull his **** together here. He's already had the first fight in his backyard. Cobra got them all shitting their panties.:yep
Well, if Kessler regularly makes 5+ million fighting in Denmark (which he almost certainly does), then it wouldn't make sense for him to go to England for fight for less than that. Ward won't go to Denmark to rematch Kessler, despite there being MORE MONEY for Ward there. . . And I'm betting he wouldn't go to England to fight Froch either. . .
especially with the 20 counts they give over there, going mad at the fighter who knocked down there oppenent instead of the ref getting on with what he is paid to do. pressure we are on about froch he does not hide in nottingham like bute hid in montreal for 30 fights
froch v pavlik does not intrest me at all pavlik is done just looking for a big payday. love how every time you hear him speak he just cant help but mention froch, look at frochs last 3 fights then look at pavliks that gives you a gauge on how the wide gap between them is. can you imagine froch facing pavliks last 3 opponents after he got beat off ward:bart
