    Not just lara,alvarez is avoiding all the top guys in jr middleweight division,if he don't wanna fight nobody there,then he should head back to welterweight.

    Still will watch this fight. Better not be PPV. Unfortunate what happened to Williams but wish him well.

    Quintana is always a dark horse candidate. . .don't count him out.

    What a **** fight, do they not remember what Cotto did to this guy when he was a welterweight? Retired him in 5. Williams tko in 1! Ffs can they match this guy up with someone who'll actually have a chance against him?

    If canelo dream about fighting Floyd, he should pick opponents from a higher level such as Lara, Trout, Cotto

    I also find it funny that Alvarez fans say one needs to "earn their shot" o face Alvarez. Did M. HAtton earn his shot as a WW(repeating WW) to fight Alvarez at 154? He didn't even have a name apart from sharing the same last name as his brother. Did Mosley get his shot going 0-3 before facing Alvarez and always looking average at 154? Not gonna lie I will see this fight and they did try to face Williams but Alvarez and his team oughta be ashamed of themselves if they ever try to push this as PPV.

    I still can't believe Golden Boy is going with 9/15 when Martinez vs Chavez Jr is a far superior fight.

    Smart fight on the part of GB. Bob Arum has already secured the #1 ppv channel so Canelo can't compete without a big name. Lara and K9 are not big names, so they will do this on non PPV and make a decent show of it.

    Canelo wins but when they ran out of opponents, they knew they couldn't compete with Chavez Jr vs Martinez.
