Who was more shot Froch vs Ward or Eubank vs Calzaghe

eubank wasnt totally shot, he was just completely disinterested in winning a title at which he had already set a record. He was just not interested in a return to the WBO SMW titl, was at the wrong weight for it, was semi retired and still gave Zaghes a good fight. Years later, when Joe Calzaghe was in the same shoes as Eubank, he RAN from Froch and a good payday.


Froch is slightly postprime, but he had EVERYTHING to prove in the Bute fight. Hes completely different to the semi retired Eubank was.

lol he is a bit slow.l He used to always name people and say it was a top 10 win. Those dudes were nobodies and hence are the reason why noone regards calzaghes resume as anything spectacular.

 

Froch wasn't shot, just outclassed. Prime fighters do actually lose, shock horror.

Neither were shot, what's the point in this thread? Looks like the thread starter has insecurities about Joe Calzaghe, he can't even give Ward credit unless he somehow looks for parallels with Joe C.

On a serious note, I thought it was an impressive win for Ward. I personally scored it 117-111 to Ward, he fought an excellent fight in not giving Froch the mid-range, and exposing Froch's weakness which is inside fighting. Ward is very versatile, which makes him a nightmare for a fighter like Froch.

Ward will beat Chad Dawson by decision.

As a side note, if you think Eubank was shot when he fought Joe C, look at his next two performances against Carl Thompson. To those who say Eubank was drained, he was preparing to fight a LHW when he took the fight with Calzaghe, he took it because he felt he was more effective at the lower weights

 

yeah, the other one is where he writes some meaningless cut and paste jibberish reply like 'Joe Calzaghe was undefeated, so noone couldbeat him'.... and then ends it with 'so you pwned yourself again there!'..... wtf?
