Adamek is significantly taller than Toney.

Glardly, Adamek couldn't crack an egg to save his life and will likely just hit Toney's guard all night and win a shutout.

What a fraud he is :-(

Also Adamek is not a big puncher. He's not Wlad. I can see if it were James Toney vs Wlad then I would be concerned but this fight is less dangerous for James Toney than his previous fight against Bobby Gunn. Adamek is a better boxer than Bobby Gunn but he isn't a harder puncher and doesn't have as good of a chin.

Adamek will try to outbox Toney, he won't go toe to toe because he would get KO'd even by this old shot James Toney.

 

I am huge Toney fan but when is this guy gonna call it quits? I think Toney, Jones and Evander have a bet on who can be made to look like the biggest fool after they are completely shot. Toney has mad skills but his body cant perform anymore . . . I would almost never count Toney out because of his ability, but he is lucky if he make physically make the walk to the ring. The HW and CW division are so **** that these guys can dream about winning a title even with Parkinson starting to set in.

 

True, but worse in my oppinion is that Toney actually has some chance of winning because Adamek is not a top HW by any stretch of the imagination.

There's no justifying this matchup. It's galling to see such an established fighter (who has made a lot of coin in his career) exploit a short, shot, brain-addled former middleweight.

Adamek is a disgrace if he takes this fight. I'll regret that I ever cheered for him previously.

 

James Toney is shot but he's not THAT shot. You make it sound like he's been getting KO'd in his last few fights or been getting his ass kicked.

Look at his record. He has been winning his fights against Journeymen at heavyweight. At cruiserweight he lost but he's not really a cruiserweight anymore.

Stop being emotional and be objective. James Toney is old but he's still able to win fights at this level.

James Toney has been talking like that for the last 15 years or longer. He never was a good speaker. You're acting like guys like Holyfield and Toney ever were good with the english language.

If Roy Jones or Antonio Tarver started talking like James Toney then I would be worried but if you've always talked bad and you still talk bad, thats not a sign of brain damage.

A sign of brain damage is lack of balance. Let the doctors decide if he's healthy enough.

 

Just stop defending this disgraceful "fight"... I know you are in the same boat as the rest of all boxing fans, nobody wants to see slurring Toney AGAIN IN THE RING.
