Way too many people are picking Khan to dominate and knock Garcia out and being one of Amir's biggest supporters, I hugely disagree.

Just like I said pre-Khan/Peterson, I wouldn't have been surprised if Peterson won, and even though I don't think Garcia is the type of fighter Peterson is, he is deceptively good.

I've actually studied some of his fights and unlike a lot of others, I was impressed with his win against Holt and Morales. Garcia's a very strong fighter who took Holt's best punches as if they were nothing - credit to his chin (he's never been hurt or down).

Morales and Holt may not have been in their prime, but he has been winning and winning decisively if you watch his fights in their entirety. I'm not quite happy with the lack of respect people are giving Garcia because the way people are talking about him is as if he's an absolute nobody, and being a Khan fan, knowing that Amir will probably have a tough fight (imo) takes away a credible win or gives Amir a bad reputation if he loses. Garcia is a solid solid opponent and will give Khan all he can handle, in my honest opinion.

This man sums it up quite well. (might be little hard to understand him)

    What do you think anyway?

Khan should easily dominate Garcia. Garcia has average power, below average speed, no footwork, looping punches, no jab, but he does have a decent chin....which is a backhanded comment because his defense is garbage. It should be easy work for Khan.

Khan's handspeed and footwork will be the difference. If Garcia can land big shots early, it might turn into a real fight.

He has very good power, actually. Especially in his left hook. He does have a jab, and his speed isn't too bad.

No, not at all. He has a good left hook to the body, but to the head, no not all...especially for a Philly fighter, it's quite horrible. He doesn't have a jab. He doesn't throw nearly enough at all. Average speed. Just a basic, domestic level fighter that has no business having a "world title."

Garcia's power is being underrated here. So is his counterpunching. We all know how **** Khan's defence is and how he leaves his chin out to dry when attacking. That's where Danny can be pretty effective - timing people coming in and going out. Remember, with Khan's flaws all it takes is one or two decent shots to put him out of his game.

The latter rounds will be very interesting.

I've never been impressed with Garcia. Seems just like an overrated Al Haymon hypejob. He also had fits against fat Morales.:patsch

    Khan (wide) UD12.

I've seen some of his earlier fights, which have all come by way of knockout via a left hook to the head. He knocked Morales down with the same one (something Maidana could not do) and he hurt Holt with it also. I'm not sure what a Philly fighter hook should look like, but I think he has a good one, personally.

He doesn't throw the jab enough, that's true, but with Amir a jab isn't always needed to off-set him.

Any of the top guys, say top 10 or so, can give Khan a tough time.

I strongly disagree. He's got a very effective jab. Morales was able to nullify it with the right hand but Garcia found a way to bring it back mid to late fight. His jab and short shots rearranged Holts face. Very incorrect in saying he doesnt have a jab. Its very effective and one of his main tools. Dont know what ur watching. Hes an aggressive counter puncher so its natural his output isnt high. It isnt low but not high either. Thats the role of a counter puncher. This basic level fighter is gonna make Khan look like a kid in there.
