What would you have done (if this happened at your boxing gym)?

I just mad i didnt get to use my in and out, side to side movements.

 

lmao you sound like your 15 now, my gloves cost me £30 id die tryna get them back, bein nice doesnt get you anywher

 

same thing happened to me a few years back and i was fuming at the time. This kids dad went though my bag to take out my competition gloves to use for sparing. I didnt see the gloves for 3 days untill i found them amonst all the other old school stinky communal gloves in the store room.

I didnt say to much cause me and this kid were regular sparing patners. Just ask next time mother farker!

being nice has gotten me plenty far. . . and not just being nice, but who is giong to become aggressive, and confontational over somebody using their gloves (maybe by mistake)?

im not going to be walked over, but it's not lke my gloves were "missing" - they were just moved, and obviously used. . I found them, asked them about it, and in the process made it clear they were mine, and not to use them again, got htem back, and peaced out. . .

What has probably happened is the guy thought your gloves were his it has happened to me before and picked them up by mistake.

At some point he obviously realised this and he should have put them back. Failing that he should have had the decency to explain what he did and offered an apology.

You really should have pressed him/them and said where are my gloves that I left over there (wherever you left them) even if it got awkward.......at the end of the day you did nothing wrong so someone owes you an explanation

But when it's all said and done it's over with now so just let it go next time you knw to be a little more direct.

 

We have 8 or 9 guys at my gym all using the same gloves. I wrote my name in permanent marker on the while lining so this mistake wouldn't happen.

 

thats alot for gloves considerin you can get cheap ones, and im not rich like you thats why i aint a ***** lol, why even make this thread if things like this bug you how you gonna get through life?

I just wanted to see others opinions. Most people with their head on straight seem to support me in what I did - simply say they are mine, and inquire into thte situation. I think they really mistook them for gym property. . . It was obvious they were not trying to steal them, and they did not get poppy, or an attitude with me.
