Oh he definately is. That's why he fought on the K9 undercard and even before up and coming badass Gary Russell Jr. His opponent B level fighter Freddy Hernandez had more support than "Superstar" Lara that night.

I actually have nothing against Lara, although I did think he was intentionally headbutting several times, and was unimpressed with his inside game. The cubans on here have gotten really annoying though. They are getting as bad as the *******s.

Because our fighters want to fight the best fighters, or because the Mexican and Pinoys warriors are running scared?

Brooms don't try to shoot some goo up your chute, and cocks don't leave splinters? :conf

Thanks, if you step on my toe and keep me there and off balance you could catch me with a real hard punch and put me in ***** street and will be legal, that's damage, if I hit you with my head and I open a cut it will be damage too but illegal.

I may have to watch this fight again. I missed a lot of this stuff, I think.

    Very true.

I just kind of figured Lara was gonna whoop Hernandez, so even though I was watching I was eating dinner and stuff like that....but not watching closely enough to catch the little things going on like you guys did. :good

I'm curious as can be now. I'm a go find this fight to watch it. :yep

the headbutt that lara landed when he tried to land simultaneous left and right hooks was not intentional, he was trying to do what pacquiao did to clottey and failed terribly.

Hernandez is not a C level fighter, he's at least a steady B.

Lara was dirty but didn't get caught.....if the refs ain't callin **** then you'd be dumb to not use somesthing illegal that's working.

Lara did go down a couple notches in my view of him though, didn't like the way he dealt with some of Hernandez shots and the frustration he showed with the dirty stuff that isn't typical of him in past fights. I picked him over Canelo before this fight now I slightly favour Canelo.

Lara showed some weaknesses. He's nothing special really. JUst A very experienced and well schooled fighter in his prime. Which is all that might be needed to beat Canelo, cause he has not convinced me either. I had this fight at 50/50 before and my opinion has not changed.
