    Mayweather has no charisma.

    He's best chance to get people to see him is use the Money persona and beat people up (in the ring).

    There's no way he could've been as popular with a goody two shoes image.

    That's just the way it is. So, nope, not a people's champ.

    How did he beat his girlfriend? didnt he only toss and iphone at her and grab her arm? Hardly a beating.

    Corrales breaking his pregnant wife's jaw and ribs is a beating. Floyd is slowly becoming the peoples champ

    these fools act as if he put this chick into a coma or something :lol::patsch.

    bottom line is he put his hands on her and she found a way to cash out.

    but im sure a world class boxer would be able to bruise her up, and im sure a true gold digger would take the photos of her face after the "beating" ASAP.

    SRR damn near killed his wife and he is considered the GOAT by most.

    No he tried that approach when the Olympics was over and despite putting on some of the best boxing clinics no one gave a ****. Then he destroyed media darling and fan favorite in gatti and the rest is history.

    A peoples champ fights anyone and everyone for the people not for the money. The peoples champ respects the people. Using a stack of bills to mimic as a phone is not respecting the people. Especially the really poor.

    His goal is not to become the "peoples champ" once an athlete says what they feel,they can no longer be considered that,because they are now "controversial etc"

    Threatened to kill your children when they tried to stop him beating their mother.
    Jailed because he is a boxer and he beat helpless woman.
    Threw your father outa your house.

    These little things surely won't help him to be considered a people champ.
