You can fantasize with your hyperbole all you want but the fact is that Haye has refused to face Adamek several times now and Adamek holds the better career resume.

I don't see David listed at all.

(I bumped this to get a response from the OP on Malik Scott's #75 ranking by BoxRec, since the OP is now touting the unassailable "maths" of BoxRec's approach to promote David.)

You need a contract in order to have a set date.

Adamek targets Haye

During the past three weeks, two cruiserweight Champions have made news with impressive wins in the heavyweight division. Last Saturday in Germany, David Haye of England won the WBA Heavyweight title by defeating Russian giant Nikolai Valuev. Two weeks earlier, Ring Cruiserweight Champion Tomasz Adamek dethroned Polish Legend Andrew Golota in Lodz, Poland with a crushing 5th round TKO in a heavyweight fight that was billed as the “Polish Fight of the Century.”

Haye could face Adamek next

By Eric Thomas: WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (24-1, 22 KO’s) could be facing once beaten former light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek (41-1, 27 KO’s) next. There is talk that Haye’s manager/trainer Adam Booth is excited about a fight between Haye and the unbeaten 33-year-old Adamek.

Haye had been looking to fight IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko but the two couldn’t agree on how to divide the television money. As things work out, it might be better that the 29-year-old Haye not fight Klitshko right now because Haye can build up the fight more by beating two or three heavyweights and picking up more fans outside of he UK before taking on either of the Klitschko brothers.
The only problem with that, however, is that Haye is going to have to fight more often if he wants to get these fights out of the way before taking on the Klitschko brothers in the future. Adamak, 6’1″, has good power and is fast on his feet. This is obviously not a fighter in the same class as the Klitschko brothers, but Adamek is plenty dangerous and could give Haye big problems if he’s able to land his shots on Haye’s vulnerable chin.
Haye has a bad habit of knocking most of his opponents out early. The problem with that is once he meets up with a fighter that an hang around and get to the later rounds, when Haye loses some of the steam on his punches, he could be susceptible to being knocked out. Adamek has a fight coming up next month against big 6’7″ Michael Grant on August 21st.
Provided that Adamek can get by that fight, he could be available for a fight against Haye if the British fighter is interested in taking on a dangerous guy like Adamek. Like Haye, Adamek has only limited experience at heavyweight, beating Andrew Golota, Jason Estrada and Chris Arreola. Adamek has proved that he an take a heavy shot and keep coming. However, he hasn’t been hit by anyone close to having the same kind of power as Haye. This could be a blowout if Adamek’s chin can hold up to Haye’s big punches.
Haye has been rumored to be looking at the possibilities of facing Audley Harrison. That would be a fight that would do well in the UK, but it’s something that would cause Haye to take a lot of criticism because people will think that Haye is avoiding Wladimir.
